Indeed, if Adventure has a name, it's...
[Benny is dressed in a parka and trousers and furry boots. The resort wear of the Ice Warrior loving archaeologist. She has a pile of luggage around her currently that she is rooting through]
Where the bloody hell did you go? I know it’s in here somewhere, don’t worry? Oh, come on.
[Braxiatel is already packed, one gloved hand on the suitcase he is leaning against, the other holding a panama hat, and an unamused expression settled on his lips.] Bernice. You should have given it to me when I asked for it.
I said I knew where it was. And you know I’d find it a hell of a lot faster if you weren’t looking at me like that. [and she goes back to rooting around]
Oh, forgive me, Professor Summerfield. I’ll just stand here and admire Lyra, shall I? Vega looks lovely tonight.
Thank you.
[Benny goes back to looking through her bag and this starts playing somewhere]
Aha!
[Benny pulls out The Holy Bloody Grail and holds it up over her head, victorious.]
[With a click of a button, the music stops.] That belongs in a museum. Mine, precisely. Please hand it over now. Losing the same historical artefact twice in one day would look bad on your CV.
[Benny ignores Brax, examining the inside the Grail, before reaching her hand in and pulling something out. She places a bag of marbles in Brax’s hand and holds onto the Grail] I think those are yours.

[oh, and he can't resist] Well, at least keeping them somewhere like that should make it harder to lose your marbles.
But is that really it? I mean, the Holy Grail? It exists?

Hey, thanks for the package you sent me. I've still got the...thing, if you want it back. It worked like a charm!

Yeah, I'll get...uh... [glances down at the blanket in his hands, then offers it out to Benny] Could you hold Samwise for a mo'?
no subject
Yeah, sure, I can [and then she looks down and BUNNY! She is totally distracted now] oh, hello you!
Brax, we need bunnies on the Collection. Let's get bunnies! Lots of them.

Well...Samwise might get to visit sometime. [glances at Brax. the offer's still on the table, right? but then he remember what he was supposed to be doing] Oh, right! Device. Back in a tick!
[drops from the Plane, quickly returning with a small bag. offers it to Brax] Here you go, all in one--well, two pieces.

But I did want to talk to you first, Benny. You know, about what it's like. [also reaches out a hand. he misses Samwise]

[she looks down at Samwise, and reluctantly hands him over]

[laughs at Brax's comment] I think I'll leave that up to Benny. Does he need to leave, Benny?

Think of anything in the entire universe you can think of, no matter how far fetched, how rare or impossible. Now, imagine it's all stored in one tiny little planetoid that is filled to the brim with academics and students who can barely think of anything better to do than drool over these impossible things. And sometimes these academics and students are very responsible and publish papers or host conferences and symposiums and other dreadful academic business. Mostly though we just wake up, get excited over some lost scroll, get pissed at the pub, come home, go to bed. Lather, rinse, repeat.
