[Hei appears a ways away from where the normal crowd gathers, carrying a brand new Satake telescope. He sets it up carefully on its tripod and settles in for some quiet time with the stars. He'll talk to anyone who comes by, though.]

[The feeling of sleep presses on Hei's mind and then one of Bordeom]

[And this is definitely a new experience; Hei is just a little weirded out.]

He's asleep and...you're bored. Well, um. Unless you like looking at stars, I can't say you'll be any less bored with me...

[Hey, you're good at this. There's a mental shrug, and then something like a whack upside the head because duh. Of course it likes the stars!]

[Oops, right, sentient armor=constellation armor. Hei flinches a little.]

Aheh, okay. Well, then. Let's see if we can find your constellation. [And Hei scans the sky/floor, searching.]

[The head swivels, looking as well before it finally points in a certain direction. It calls Hei's attention.]

[contract_star]

[Hei turns to look as well and he smiles.] I suppose you would know, huh? [Turns his telescope in that direction, making adjustments.] It's brighter than normal. And it's nowhere near Pisces. They really got their stars mixed up, here.

[A bob of the head in affirmation, then 'bright' comes to mind.]

Makes it easier to find, I suppose. [Smiles vaguely.] You're a lot friendlier than Milo's Cloth.

[lamb_of_gold]

["Because I know Master is safe," is probably the best way to put the next feeling.]

[contract_star]

[And Hei gets the feeling loud and clear.] Right...I suppose it would be different if Mu was in danger. Milo's Cloth must have been worried for him. [Long pause, thinking things over. Then he smiles.] You're a little bit like Yin that way.

[Curious now!]

[contract_star]

Yin? She's...[Long pause, and he smiles slowly.] She's a friend. She...she doesn't talk much, and people assume that because of what...who she is, that she doesn't think or feel. But they're wrong. She's a good friend to me...she's even saved my life in the past.

[lamb_of_gold]

[A sense of familiarity there, "You're right, that is like us." and then a happy glow, "I like you." ]

[contract_star]

[Still a little weirded out by this whole thing, but he smiles broadly in response to the sense of "Liking."] I'm glad Mu has you. He...seems kind of lonely, sometimes.

[Here comes that sad back, kind of a missing someone sort of sad though]

[Hei thinks about it, trying not to let the "ow, sad" show on his face.] His master, huh?

[An affirmation, accompanied a sense of possession, like "Mine, too."]

[contract_star]

[Sighing and looking again at the sky.] Losing someone...it's...[But he doesn't really know how to express it in words, and feelings aren't much easier, so he says nothing and figures the Cloth will understand anyway.]

[Does and tries to comfort in response.]

[Feels it and just smiles.]
