Sitting next to him is something that semi-sorta kinda resembles a Ram except for a slight difference - it's metallic. comme ca

Anyways, Mu will wake up if you talk to him, so come one and all!

Heh. I'd have to find someplace farther out, then, away from the crowds. I'm a light sleeper. Even more so these days.

So am I, usually. I have to be, back at home. But here, I can force myself to meditate deeply first, and drift to sleep after that. It's quite nice.

Ah, that would be a good skill to have. I always seem to have trouble falling asleep. [Quiet for a moment, thinking.] Have you...ah, no. Never mind.

[Hesitates, then,] Have you been having nightmares?

I have.

[contract_star]

[Nods and looks away.] It must be this place, then. A lot of people have been having them. Even me, when I shouldn't be dreaming at all. [Smiles a bit sheepishly.] Sorry for prying.

If I felt you were prying, I wouldn't have answered.

How does one not dream?

[Face goes blank and he shrugs.] I just don't.

Everyone dreams, many simply don't remember it.

[Looks away.] A lot of people in my world simply don't dream. They're incapable of it. Which is why it's that much stranger that I've been having nightmares.

I see [Doesn't, actually, but won't press]. The mysteries of this place never cease.

[Is really quite glad that Mu doesn't ask many questions. He smiles vaguely.] Some mysteries just don't like to be solved.

[Cynical smirk.] If the Twins feel we need to know. Oh well. Some things make this whole experiment rather bearable.

The stars. Meeting people. The fact that time doesn't pass while we're here. [Smiles suddenly.] And I keep managing to find free food.
