[ Oh boy, it's been a while Plane! There is a good reason for this, and this reason is a doozy. This is quickly seen when Sefton appears; not only are his wrists strapped to the gurney that he's brought with him, but he's also dressed in a pair of scrubs, barefoot, and trying to wrest his hands free from the bindings in quiet panic. ]

Come on, come on, come on, come on...!

Agh! [ He flops back against the pillow, momentarily defeated and breathing heavily. Looking for all the world like the scared, helpless fifteen year old that he is. ] Dad... Dad... why would you do this...?

[ Sefton flinches. It looks like he really didn't expect anyone to notice him, despite it happening more often than not, he just really needed someplace to run to.

Instead of answering, he shifts; tries to turn away. Closes his eyes, thins his lips. ]

Alright, then I'll assume you wish to be restrained to a bed.

[polarization]

[ His fists clench even tighter than before. ]

Does it look like I do?!

[lamb_of_gold]

No need to be rude. [Mu fingers the bindings a bit, and with a flare of cosmo, they snap apart.]

[polarization]

[ There's every need for it, man. Sefton's eyes snap open and he stares at the opened restraints, then quickly tries to roll off the gurney. It doesn't go so well, seeing as he has to grab onto it and even then seems to have some trouble supporting his weight.

After a moment of simply breathing so that he doesn't collapse or something... ] What? Y'want me to say "thanks"?

[lamb_of_gold]

[Mu goes around and grabs him by the shoulders to help him stand up]

If I were to criticize your manners, you'd still be laying down.

[polarization]

Wh— [ Sefton flinches from Mu's grip, trying to shirk away from it. Unsurprisingly, he's trembling under the touch. ] Let go.

[lamb_of_gold]

When I'm sure you won't fall over.

[polarization]

I didn't fall over. Now let go.

[lamb_of_gold]

[Does so, albeit reluctantly]

[polarization]

[ Immediately steps away. He stumbles, but catches himself on the gurney, and manages to keep his footing. He's still breathing heavily, but may just be starting to calm down. Sort of. ]

[lamb_of_gold]

You should at least sit until you've calmsed down.

[polarization]

No. I'm—I'm fine. Just... 'm fine.

[lamb_of_gold]

I've no doubt you will be, but I don't think your legs are up to their designated task at the moment.

[polarization]

'm not sitting down.

[lamb_of_gold]

If you fall, its your own fault, then.

[polarization]

'Course it is. But s' not gonna happen.

[lamb_of_gold]

[He knows a dismissal when he hears one, but it's clear he's reluctant to leave Sefton alone at the mo']

Hn. If you need anything, I'll not be far.

[polarization]

Don't care.

[ Normally, that would at least be a half-lie. Right now, though, Sefton's so wrapped up in his own thoughts that he can't bring himself to focus on anybody else for once. ]
