[arrives and falls over, spreading out her arms in a dramatic 'I give up' motion. after a moment she sits up and reaches into her pocket, opening an energy drink and downing it]

Maa, why is school giving such a heavy workload? We don't have time for cases anymore. I haven't had free time in forever. Middle school exams are coming up, too. I'm doomed.

They're very hard! If you don't pass them, you can't go to middle school.

Really? [He honestly didn't know this...] They must be really important. I guess that's why your school is being so hard on you.

[nods] Usually people go to cram school or a summer school to prepare for the exams.

They go to two schools just so they can pass an exam? [This is Shun at the moment: O_O] But how long until you have to take this exam? Won't things get easier once you pass it?

[nods] Ah, I take it soon! About a year...And no! Things won't get easier. Then I have high school exams to worry about. And university entrance exams.

Oh, that's a lot of exams. School sounds hard.

It is. And it goes on forever!

It almost makes me glad I never went to school.

Ah, you never went to school at all?

[Shakes head] Never. I had a tutor for a while when I was little and then Master Albiore taught me some, but that was it.

What as that like?

I really don't remember much about my tutor, I was really little and usually tired since he taught us at night, after we were done with training.

Master Albiore was really kind though. He's the one who taught me to speak Greek. He had a lot patience too, I was a cry baby when I was younger but he never got mad at me.

Really? You mean training like fighting? ...Were you picked on? [assuming from his crying comment]

Yes, we were being trained to fight. Kido wanted us to become Saints so he I guess he though he would give us a head start.

I was picked on a little bit, but Nii-san looked out for me when I was little and then my friend June helped me learn to ignore those people and stand up for myself.

Ah, so people aren't just born Saints? Mu is a saint, isn't he? I know he works for a goddess.

Ah, that's good. Bullies are such a pain.

Mu's a Gold Saint and Gold Saints are special, but I think ever Saint has to go through years of training before they can take the test that determines if they are worthy to earn a Cloth and become a Saint.

Oh, there's a test?

Yeah. It's more of a trial to determine if your strong enough to earn your cloth though. There are only eighty-eight Cloths though, so it's hard to earn one.

But Mu can make cloths, can't he?

Mu just repairs the cloths. Legend has it that the Cloths themselves were made by Hephaestus, the smith god.

Ah, there must be a lot of gods in your world.

There are. I know there's all the gods from the Greek Parthenon and the Norse gods at least. I heard someone talking about the Egyptian gods too. Luckily gods aren't allowed to interfere with mortals much anymore.

I know some of those gods but not all of them. I know there's a lot of them.

Part of a Saints training is learning all about the Greek gods. Master Albiore made us memorize all the Greek Myths, so if a god attacked Athena we would be able to identify which one it was.

Are all the other gods bad?
