At least he tries to be discrete about it, having found a bag in which to deposit the contents of his stomach, and he's nice enough to pop off the plane for a few seconds to get rid of it. Upon return, he slinks into the bar and procures a tall, cold glass of water, which he sips at slowly, looking generally very miserable, and very much like he hasn't slept well in about a week.]

It's like magic, I guess. Jupiter is wind psynergy, which is opposite Venus. I'm a Venus adept, so all the Jupiter psynergy where I am is kinda making me sick.

Well, there are paths that run on the outside, but it's the energy in the building itself that's doing it. [a beat, then somewhat under his breath] Ivan made it more than a week with the beacon lit. I think I'd die at that rate.

Not the elemental lighthouses. They're...they're like seals on Alchemy, and if they're all lit, then the world will end.

But alchemy isn't real. Oh, I suppose I oughtn't say that here. It probably isn't true anymore. What if it's just some terribly lazy lighthouse keeper's way of getting out of working? Still, it's an odd thing to herald the apocalypse. It's lonely, though. Lighthouses are to guide you home.
