[There's a boy on the Plane. Some people might realize he looks very similar to a certain Aries Saint although he doesn't look to be more than twelve or thirteen. Right now he's hold the head piece to a Cloth, golden energy seeming to swirl around it and his hands. He's smiling in ecstasy, eyes closed. At last he gives a satisfied sigh and opens his eyes, then freezes in confusion.]

Wh..what is this? This hasn't happened before! Is this a new memory?

[While Mu usually comes and goes from Aries for days at a time, the disappearance of Shion for more than a day with no prior warning is cause for alarm. Naturally, this is the first place Mu looks.

And his eyes bug]

....Shion?!

[Suspicious glare] Who are you? How do you know my name!?

Mu.

[Given that he's been here before, it's probably best just to play along for now...] I am a friend of your Master.

[Frowns, he can sense the falsehood in that] You're not telling the truth. I don't like it when people lie to me. [But how that he's gotten a good luck at Mu, it's clear he's another Lemurian so Shion is confused.]

Acquaintance, then. [Mu, for the record, has closed off his mind quite tightly against Shion at the mo']

..Hnn. [He still isn't sure he trusts you Mu. He's mentally probing at your mind] What is this place?

[Not getting in~] That's terribly rude, you know.

This is the Astral Plane. You're safe.

[Pulls back, startled. No one except his master has ever caught him at that before. But Mu is a Lemurian so he decides that's the reason he was caught.] I was just trying to find out what this place was!

Of course I'm safe. I'm being trained as a Saint, I can take care of myself.

And I told you. No reason to force an answer from me.

So you say. [Finally, he gestures at the cloth] What were you doing?

[He really can't argue with the first part so he ignores it] I was watching it's past.

You should know better.

Why? What's wrong with it? [Defensive ram is defensive]

Privacy is not a concept you're familiar with, I take it?

It's not like I'm hurting anyone.

But it is insulting.

How? I'm just getting information. I have these powers, why shouldn't I use them for something useful?

A violation of one's privacy is not useful.

[Crosses his arms stubbornly] I'm just reading surface thoughts. It's not like I'm doing anything to them.

It's called the Astral Plane. It's generally non-aggressive.

Astral...Plane? Did you create it?

[a frown] No. A woman named Meredith Sault and two individuals named Lapis and Lazuli are generally regarded as responsible for it.

Then..where are they? What did they create this for?

They seem to be testing some hypothesis on us. We don't know what or why.

...Hypothesis? [That isn't a word that Shion has heard before. He's also feeling slightly defensive at the moment so he reaches out and runs a light mental 'hand' over Satoshi's mind to grasp the meaning of the word and see if Satoshi isn't telling him everything.]

[The definition is there, at the forefront of Satoshi's mind. It takes him a moment to realize someone is in his head, but he recognizes the feeling and takes an involuntary step back, as if that could get him away from it]

Don't do that.

[He has jumped from disinterested to upset very quickly]

[Shion stops, more out of surprise than anything else. It isn't often he runs into someone besides his Master willing to call him on that.]

I wasn't hurting you.

[He can't relax, even if that feeling is gone; he's very much on guard now] You were in my head. You don't have that right.

[Shion is deciding to be stubborn] It's a gift I have, why shouldn't I use it?

[his eyes narrow] It's being responsible. What you're able to do isn't always what you should.

I am already responsible! I always complete the tasks my Master sets for me and I train hard.

Discipline isn't responsibility.

[Shion is getting annoyed] Then what do you think it is?

[adjusts his glasses, then shoves his hands into his pockets] Moral or personal?

[Frowns, considering that question] Personal.

That's accountability. But personal responsibility... [sighs, glances away] it means that whatever happens because of what you do, it's your fault. [with an edge of bitterness] Most people don't appreciation someone else in their head.
