ℳℴℯ Journal --- 03

Hiiii everyo~ne!

Renge-chan has noticed that so many of you are feeling down lately! And Renge-chan has a solution! You all just need to find the love in your hearts! In an inter-dimensional place such as this, what better place for love to sprout and grow! There is great chance here to find your beloved, so Renge-chan is giving you the chance!

Welcome to the first annual Astral Plane Speed Dating Event! Have a seat at the tables! Those of you sitting in the left seat, you'll move to the next table every time the song changes!

Please let love bloom today! Let the Love-Love Event begin!

((ooc: If you're not familiar with speed dating, the basic concept is that one half of the people sit at a table, and the other half move in between the tables every five minutes or so. You just talk to the other person about whatever until the time is up!

For this post, just comment with who you want to participate with, and then tag around to the other participants and have fun and build some slightly awkward CR. Renge isn't actually going to be tagging, but for those characters that aren't super social, Renge will force you to participate if she sees you. That's just what she does. And one other thing! To tag to people here, you have to make a comment offering up your character, too! Fair's fair, right?))

...Good evening, mademoiselle. Have you been forced into this game as well?

[She smiles at him.] I'm part of this club, so I thought I should support it. [Not that she has a choice...]

I'm sorry you have to play. We should make the best of it, since there's nothing else we can do.

That is true, I suppose. It is just...unusual. Especially for where I come from.

This isn't really normal at home, either. But being unusual is something the club takes pride in. Ah, I'm Fujioka Haruhi. It's nice to meet you.

A pleasure, mademoiselle. I am Maximilien Robespierre.

Though, if I may ask, what sort of club is it? Priding itself in the unusual reminds me of a club I was once a part of.

The Host Club likes putting on events and tea socials for bored young women with a lot of time and money on their hands.

[She's getting better at describing it, she feels.]

So it is not terribly dissimilar from the Rosati Society after all. Though we never threw events for others, just ourselves.

[identity profile] virginaesthetic.livejournal.com 2010-03-22 06:04 am (UTC)(link)
We do sometimes but it is rarer... [Curious.] The Rosati Society?

A small club that a few friends and I formed. It was charming, in it's way. I believe Jean described it as a club where "roses, wine and poetry were honored."

That really does sound like the Host Club. I guess it must be a rich person thing.

{There's a slight look of distaste, but it's gone quickly}

Though we did not have peasants, not all of the members were tied to nobility, mademoiselle.

Ah, I'm sorry for assuming. At Ouran, it seems like I'm the only scholarship student sometimes.

{with a small smile,} Then I would say from an outsider's view that it is better you won your education rightfully than through money alone. Though, what is it that you study?
