[Yuri appears in the Astral Plane in Amon form, a purple liquid dripping from his claws. He de-transforms, sighs, then swears slightly when he notices that his weapons are coated with the purple ooze too. The Haromnixer sits down and pulls out a rag to clean the claw weapons with, muttering about Masks, Graveyards and annoying friends as he works.]

[Smiles] If fusing meant my mind changed too, then I wouldn't do it. I'm not the kind of person who would give up that much for power.

That's good! It wouldn't be worth it if you did. [thought the monster was just a wee bit scary, yes]

Some people think power is worth any price. [Smirks] Kurando kept asking if I was sure he wasn't going to turn into a monster. I guess he got freaked out the first time he fused.

It does look pretty scary at first!

Guess it does Alic..someone I knew smacked me over the head with a bible the first time she saw me transform.

That must have hurt!

[Puts a hand on his head and grimaces as he remembers it] Yeah, it kind of did, even when I was fused. She really packed a punch with that thing.

Does she help you fight, too?

[Pauses then speaks softly] Yeah, she did. She as an exorcist, a really good one.

[noticed he got quiet] Oh... That's an interesting job, though. Sometimes priests still help people with how to treat spirits.

Alice's father was a priest, I guess that's why she became an exorcist.

[nods] That would make sense! I've never met anyone who's done that before, though. There's not a lot of priests in my town, despite there being many shrines.

There must not be a lot of monsters in your world then.

I can't think of any monsters. Maybe Illegals.

If there's no monsters you wouldn't need exorcists or a lot of priests.

What are Illegals?

Ah, Illegals are pieces of corrupted data, we think. They're not always dangerous, though, but they can be.

Corrupted...data...? [No idea what she is talking about]

Ah, hmm...data is like information compressed into wavelengths of electricity. Well, sort of... [has to reeeeally dumb this down] But when something is wrong with it, we say it's corrupted.

[That Yuri gets...kind of.] So when something goes wrong with this data of yours it turns into a monster?

[nods] Right. Sometimes it's a harmless monster, though. My friend Denpa had one as a pet. But other times it's less harmless. Daichi's fish grew giant and flooded the city and ate buildings.

Okay that does sound bad. Not what I usually deal with though.

What are your monsters like?

They're usually demons and evil spirits that have a physical form. Those kind of things.
