[After an absence of....a very, very long time, Yuri is back! He's seated at the bar, bandaging a nasty bite on his arm. There's a glass of something very, very strong next to him and he's muttering to himself.]

I was beating up monsters solo for years, I don't need anyone telling me to be careful. I can take care of someone like that crack-pot on my own!

Why would you want to beat up monsters? Depending on your monster, they can be quite friendly.

[Snorts and doesn't look up from his bandaging] Not Malice monsters. The only purpose they have is to kill.

Well, with a name like Malice monsters, I certainly hope not.

Who's telling you to be careful?

[Finishes bandaging himself and ties it off] A couple of my friends. There's an idiot running around causing trouble, and I said it would be better if we split up to find him.

Well, sounds reasonable enough. On both sides. Friends who want to take care of you, you wanting to cover more ground.

It's not reasonable when you have someone that's been trying to take out women. I don't need someone to watch my back while I'm hunting him, but it would be better if Lucia and Anastasia had at least one person guarding them.

Monsters on your world, huh?

[There is a derp at the bar, wearin' cold weather clothes and sipping a glass of water. Sup Yuri. o/]

[Glances over]

Yeah, they're everywhere. What about your world?

Outside the towns, mostly. Though every so often, they end up on the outskirts...aaaand there was this one time that it ended in a ton of property damage. ['Sup Cubia, you weird property-destroying...thing. Siiip.] Anything like that happen in your world?

[Frowning slightly as he finishes tying off his bandage.] ...I've seen a couple cities torn apart by monsters in my world. It's only the really powerful ones that can cause that kind of damage though. Most of the time, the monsters say either outside of cities or they stay in the confines of the house they were created in. They don't really roam around that much.

[...Here, have a look of "someone is on drugs," Yuri.] People create monsters in your world?

[ooc: WHOOPS LATE. Sorry 'bout that.]

[Nods, flexing his arm a little to make sure the bandage is on right] Sometimes people do. Sometimes the monsters just show up. Malice shows up in areas where there's been a lot of suffering. Monsters are drawn to it, and it can spawn them. It's nasty stuff.

[eyes him thoughtfully] I beat most monsters on my own, too, but a partner can come in handy. [nods at the wound] Especially if you're injured.

[Doesn't look up from his bandaging] I heal fast so this is nothing. I've fought with worse before.

Having someone watching your back is helpful, but right now things would go easier if we split up to cover more ground. I just happen to be the one with the best chance of holding my own if the guy we're tracking tries to jump me.
