[Arthur is currently trying, and failing, to busy himself with his work. He's failed at being able to properly focus on anything for some time now, which is part of the reason he's come to the Plane; it wouldn't do, to fall behind so much in his reality.

To accomodate for the heavy snowfall, he's made himself at home under the giant tree he brought a while back, papers in one hand and a pen in the other. He also happens to turning thirty nine today! The idea of growing old, sadly, doesn't really seem to help ease his nerves, but at least he's not forty. Yet]

[He laughs.] Seems like it. The journey is all I ever wanted. The stops are important but not everything. It just wouldn't seem as good if I didn't have a story about how I got there.

I focus less on the voyage and more on the destination. It's important, of course, how I got there, but I'd rather focus on just how far I got.

[He beams and digs into his pockets, fishing around for a moment before pulling out a bundle of postcards. He holds them out, flipping through them to show him.] See? You buy them at little gift shops that basically every place has got. They're pictures of the famous places. Tokyo Tower, Niagara Falls, the Pyramids of Giza, Olympus Mons, the Seven Moons of Gantori...

[-oh hey, shiny things! Arthur almost reaches out to grab them, but stops himself] And you buy them because....?

[He hands them to Arthur.] See the backs? You write little notes to people and send these, so they're sort of part of your trip, too, even if they're far away. Of course, some people just collect them. I've got quite a few.

[He tilts his head.] You can keep a few, if can strike your fancy. I've usually got spares.

Oh, I'm fine, really. They would be tricky to explain, and I have enough of a worry with hiding the data pad...
