♢ 4 ♢

[Marta appears on the plane alone. Her hands are cupped in front of her, and whatever she's holding within them has her undivided attention. She's staring intently downward, eyes soft and lips turned downward in a small frown. She looks worried, curious and somehow fascinated all at the same time - and those are just the feelings she's bothering to show. Her mind is currently reeling, and she's having a hard time keeping up with her thoughts, emotions... anything, really.

After a few moments of staring, her eyes go slightly wide.
]

Oh--!

[And up flies a butterfly. She watches it go, dumbfounded for only a second before she pulls out her tarot card and her note once more.]

"All things have a beginning..." [She bites her lip, thinking]

((OoC: Icons in threads may not be that fitting - I just lost paid time and haven't convinced myself to pay for more had time to sort through the ones I actually want to keep yet. >: Sorry! fjsdklja thank you Saffy!! ♥♥♥♥)))

The Fool is the card of beginnings. Of faith and hope and trust and impulse.

It is a good card to see. I think it's fitting of you, Marta.

[Emil is MIA, so have an Axel, walking around in rather average black and red clothes, a sea salt ice cream stick poking out the corner of his mouth. And he has a book.]

They have an end, too.

You're welcome. ♥

Huh.

How... mysterious~

All of this. Getting random letters from some guy, and a card with a pretty picture on it... it's like they're trying to tell us something. [He waves his hand. His coy mood seems to be contagious.]

[dragging his teddy bear by the head, Sebastian waters the butterfly] I think I have some friends in philosophy who would argue otherwise. I try not to listen. That's a very pretty trick. Are you a magician?

[identity profile] fruitbrandy.livejournal.com 2009-12-01 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
[a pause] Really? That means you're the second necromancer I've met today! Of course, I've yet to verify that the first one really can raise the dead, but I think I shall take her at her word for now. And you are both women. I wonder if it's predominantly a female profession? That's certainly a surprising turn of events.

[looking at his bear] That is very kind of you, though I would be cautious. He's a very vain bear already. Too many compliments shall push his vanity into outright pride---won't it, Aloysius? How little sense of place you have.

My name is Sebastian. It's lovely to meet you. It would be very odd to be suddenly able to bring back dead butterflies, wouldn't it? It seems wonderful, though. I hate death and decay.

[The Master watches the butterfly go, and then smiles at it. It dies and falls to the ground]

The thunderous sound of butterflies being trampled.
