[Kuhn's been seeing more and more people wandering around on the plane with their noses buried in slips of paper and things that look like playing cards from a distance. Frankly... he's starting to feel a little left out.]

Sheesh, did everyone get a card but me? I kind of feel like I got the short end of the stick here...

Maybe not, but it's still pretty interesting. To me, anyway.

[He shrugs a shoulder.] It just is. Why are you particularly intent on not telling me?

[ ... Nngh. Sefton roots around in his bag for the card, the Lovers, and holds it out for Kuhn to see - from a distance. He's also holding on deceptively tight, just in case. ]

Better? Curiosity sated?

[He leans forward a bit to look at the card a little closer, then gives in and takes a single step forward, but nothing more. He grins a bit and nods.]

Yep. Hey, at least you didn't get Death. Right?

[ He pulls his hand back a bit when Kuhn gets closer. ]

... I guess. [ Not that the Lovers is any better, in his own personal opinion. ]

[He shrugs.] It's not like I know much about tarot anyway. Maybe the Lovers is just as weird of a card, though you wouldn't think it would be...

I'm more curious as to why they're being given out. Think there's a person with each card in the whole deck?

Well, there's... what, 70? 80? cards in the deck. Do you think 80 people have cards, and that they're all different?

Don't know. The not-dog was giving them out, but apparently there were some left over... [ He shrugs. ]

Just when you think you've heard everything...

It was really weird. [ He's about to nod, but halts the motion as something flickers across his mental vision.

The white knight, happy to help, needs no recognition. Nice guy. Personable. Trustworthy. Busybody. It shifts, from emotional to visual - - a group of colorful and oddly-dressed people bunched together, impossible to see individually, but all equally important. So important. ]
