002; try, try again?
[Despite her trying not to return, not right away until she had a better idea of what the Plane was, Jim's found herself tugged back to the plane, like gravity, to have a proper look around. Mostly it's been going all right, even if it's a little odd - the beach, the forest, the theatre - and she's been taking a few notes for her own reference, even if they turn out to be not much help.
Right now, she's seated on the plane with her head and arms resting on her legs, because, as much as she hates to admit it, the lack of fixed points is extremely unsettling and making her feel disoriented, still. It's a little like the first time in warp - suddenly the stars, the fixed points in your life, are streaming all around you and nothing seems quite in balance anymore. For a Starfleet brat, who's used to the stars, it's like walking outside and realizing nothing will stay still: grass shifting into trees and bushes and the sky's melting into the horizon.
She'll be fine in a minute, though. And even if she isn't, she will be. The Kirk stubbornness says so.]

BUT! He's getting better, SO he's walking. And he walks almost right by Jim, but he stops, and turns to face her direction.]

I wouldn't let your guard down for too long. You never know what might pop up.

[Fffff she looks up a little, keeping her eyes on him and not the background. She needs to acclimate, shut up.]

She wouldn't, specifically, but that's just because she hates being so off-balance. SHE IS A STARSHIP CAPTAIN THIS SHOULD NOT BOVVER HER. :| :| :|]

It will pass, in Time. [gestures to the spot beside her] Would you mind some company, in the meantime?
no subject
I suppose not.

Is it the stars that are disorienting?

[Ffffff just... going to be getting up, now, because she hates having someone wander over and be all 'wtf' at her. Even if she's not really ready yet.]

Then I would feel safe to assume that you are just as new as I, Madame. Though from a different time, based on your manner of dress.
no subject
I would assume so. What is your time period?

[Which is... why she's sitting on the ground... good alibi, Kirk.]

[Well- she's been there before; half her ribs broken? NAW, DON'T WORRY- COMPLETELY WONDERFUL]

I was a little... disoriented.
[Oh yeah, that's Jim's answer to everything.]

[Amazing sympathy there Brigitta; truly amazing :|]
