Issue 1

{A very buxom, if not the most buxom superhero has appeared on the Plane.
And she's not happy.}

Oh, come on. This had better be someone else I know trying to be funny, or someone's going to get hurt.

{She cracks her knuckles threateningly, and even floats in the air for a bit with her eyes ready to FIRE SOME GODDAMN LAZORS...but there aren't any villains popping out of portals or coming from the floor or anything...Or even attacking her. How odd.}

Seriously, what the heck?! This is the worst "trap" I've ever seen. Even that crazy elf lady did better than this! That's if you could even call this a trap, though. I wouldn't.

{She snorts as she lands, looking around and---wow there is some weird stuff here}

...Did someone break time and forget to mention it to me? That shop was weird, but not this weird. I mean, a library, movie theater, and the Colosseum?

[Brb, sense-deprived fella coming through] There is a kitchen and bar about, if you look.

[That is very obvous a superhero. Dino is wondering if it's really such a smart idea for someone like him to even talk to her, but his own code says that a Mafia boss is a gentleman toward the ladies.]
Time isn't broken here, just a bit messed up sometimes. This place likes to mess with your head like that.

[It should be known that Bai was debating on the merits of dumping water everywhere; but in the end she settles for being nice.

...Well; as nice as she can be.
] You cannot break time.

You've seen it happen?

[identity profile] humanwaterdemon.livejournal.com 2009-11-15 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
It isn't important because it can't happen [Yeah, you jsut keep telling yourself that Bai]

[A few more seconds of staring and then she sees fit to answer] ...You're on the Plane.

What more could you need?

This is the Astral Plane. It, in and of itself, can do you no harm.

I'm sure you saw twins upon entering the shop, yes? They often muck about with us for no discernible reason.

I don't think those in charge here care for our personal thoughts much.

But, welcome to the Astral Plane I guess. You can go back home by thinking about it, and no time will pass while you're here. Coming back works the same way.

Every attempt I know of has failed.

Because even though you can go back to your world, you can't escape this place entirely. It's still connected to your reality, and if they decide the want to mess with you or your world, they can and they will.

I'm the best person around [Sure you are Bai; suuuuuuure]

They like preform 'experiments' on us here. Sometimes it's just something minor that only affect you personally, but sometimes it's something that extends to changing something in our world. It's never permanent, but it's random and you can't predict it.
