[Here's a Doctor, for the first time in a very long time not doing some sort of experiment on the Plane! He is, in fact, cleaning up(?!?) his laboratory materials, putting them all into boxes and blipping off the Plane to, apparently, put them away back on his home world]

And what about all those people and civilizations out there that are depending on you. The universe needs you. You're just gonna be selfish and give up without even trying?

I can't protect the whole universe forever. That's why there're people out there like you. Like Jack, like Mickey. So I don't have to.

So what changed? Why's it what you did?

Things are always gonna try and destroy you or the universe or whatever else they can find out there to make a mess of. If you're not even gonna try and keep going, what's to keep any of us from going and doing the same.

You don't just go and give up before you even start. You're acting like all hopes lost all ready. That's not the Doctor I know.
