[so there's music playing from the fourth floor. some Scissor Sisters, to be exact! it's pretty loud, so it shouldn't be hard to heeeeeear

and is that a Mrs Lucy Saxon dancing along while munching some jelly babies? why yes, yes it is! she's in a modest red swimsuit with matching flipflops, just bopping about to the music.

if one looks closely, however, they'll notice a pile of discarded, empty jelly baby bags tucked into the corner of Lucy's bedroom nearby.

Me? Well, I love to dance. Jelly babies. Oh, and shopping. You can never go wrong with shopping. Hmm ... books, of course. Power.

[decides not to pursue that! something about how she said it so nonchalantly is a little off-putting...]

You said books! What sort? Who are your favourite authors?

Oh, I like just about anything, really. I'm quite fond of biographies, histories, topics like sociology and psychology, those sorts of things. And of course the classics: Jules Verne, Shakespeare, Donne, you know.

Queen Lucy, you have impeccable taste! I'm partial to the works of Jung, Donne, and Shakespeare myself.

Well aren't you a well-read young man. It's quite refreshing.

[mentally preens himself~] I've been known to have quite the refreshing demeanour.

Well, they're so easy to manipulate, don't you think? How better to become famous, or powerful, or revered than to have the masses fawn over you?

Hmmm, well, it is fun manipulating them, and as long as they stay happy, they'll keep supporting you. [which is true, considering the Host Club uses their clients for their revenue--but to make them happy, not to rule over them :|]

No, as long as they fear you they'll keep supporting you. It's much more efficient that way.
