if one looks closely, however, they'll notice a pile of discarded, empty jelly baby bags tucked into the corner of Lucy's bedroom nearby.

I'm Kyouya Ootori, Vice-President of the Ouran High School Host Club. We seek to explore various cultures from around the world and come to an understanding of their practices and histories through our club activities.

Is that so? How charming of you all to do so. Though I can't say I'm familiar with the name of your academy. I assume you're ... Japanese?

That's correct. Ouran is an Academy in Bunkyō, Tokyo.

You wouldn't happen to know a young man named Tamaki, would you?

You've met him? Tamaki is the President of our club. I hope he caused you no trouble.

[Fact for Missus Saxon: your husband wasn't all that unlike young Ootori Kyouya when he was but a youth at the Academy. More sociopathic, certainly, but still not too dissimilar.]

The Ootori Group has its place in the financial world of Japan. We've diversified our interests to best accommodate the needs and desires of our clients, but our primary work is in the medical world, hospitals and the like.

Aside from the exploration of cultures and history through interactive means, the Host Club's mission is bring happiness to those who come our way. By social events like tea-serving or cherry blossom viewing ceremonies, we both entertain the students of our school and educate ourselves and them on the world around us.

Ouran Academy is a school for children of family's like Tamaki's and my own, so you can imagine how this will be beneficial in their future careers.

I can, yes. The rigours of high society, of course. I have to admit, it's a terribly creative idea. Will you be doing anything here, you suppose?

That decision is left to the discretion of our President, who certainly seems eager to bring happiness to the people here as well. [Kyouya will do everything in his power to stop him, but Tamaki has a WAY with his whims] Unfortunately, three of our number are unable to come here, so there might be difficulties.

Is that so? How dreadful. [taps her cheek] I don't suppose you could recruit from here?

I suspect any suggestions to that effect would be futile. I also doubt most of the young men here are trained in hosting as ours are. [and the 'natural' slot is already filled, man]

It is very peculiar. [eats a jelly baby, frowning] You haven't noticed any ... odd behaviours since acquiring it, have you?

As I only recently arrived on the Plane, it's difficult for me to tell what might be effect of the place and what might be an effect of the ring.
