[On one of the porches, there is a girl who looks mildly, see extremely, lost and confused. In her arms is a shopping bag filled with various goodies.]
I don't remember going to an onsen, or being close to one. Last I checked I was about to get on the train, wasn't I?
[She's fidgeting with a ring that's suddenly appeared on her finger but hasn't really made the connection to the fact that she has it yet. Sup unconscious actions!]
[ooc; LJ is being really funny to me, so I'm sorry if I double-post to a comment that I've written]

So this place is called an 'onsen'?
no subject
O, oh, yes! It is. You're here without knowing it's an onsen?
no subject
I didn't intend to go here. It's more like the Plane dragged everyone here, really...oh, by the way, this is the Astral Plane. I don't remember seeing you around here before - you new?
no subject
Astral... Plane? Oh, um, I suppose I'm new around here.
no subject
Figured. The Astral Plane is sort of this weird...place-thing that isn't part of anyone's world but that we can all go to. Time doesn't pass back on our worlds while we're here, and usually we're able to think our way back and forth between the places.
...usually. It looks like the Plane wants everyone to stay here for some reason.
no subject
That sounds... almost like something out of a sci-fi novel. I can't believe that a place like this would exist. I wouldn't believe you if I wasn't here, you know.
[nervous laugh goes here while she digests the rest of what you've said.]
Ah, w, wait! I can't leave?
no subject
It doesn't look like it, for now anyway. Usually we're able to get out. It'll probably be over at some point. Still annoyin' though.

Oh, you must be new then. Ne, but the onsen is different for us too, so don't worry.
no subject
[Voices from the sky? What? Kururu looks up at the source of the voice and sees Diva over the edge. ....which also causes her to freak out wonderfully.]
Ah! Y, You should be careful! You look like you're about to fall and that would really hurt!
no subject
No, it's fine. It wouldn't hurt.
no subject
You should still be careful.
no subject
It's fine, really. I usually don't have this ring, but even if I didn't...Well, I'd be fine!
no subject
I... see that. Um, you said that this onsen was new to you as well?

And then he spots the unmistakable crazy hair.]
K-- Kururu?!
[WATCH HIM FALL. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesplash.]
no subject
[slkdf alkda!! NOT COOL! Kururu runs to the edge of the porch and looks down to where Ikki's fallen. Not good. Not good at all!]
Are you okay? Ikki-kun!
no subject
Kururuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu—!
[And then he's jumping onto her porch. And assuming a pose, while dripping water.]
... What's up?
no subject
[Giggles and smiles then puts down her bag of goodies to take out her handkerchief and try to dry Ikki off. ....or at least his face and a little bit of his hair.]
Nothing much, really. Apparently I'm a "new arrival".

Ahh, hello.
[He of course notices her ring, which has a natural dislike for his yellow one]

[Kururu totally takes notice of him now and spots the book that he was reading. Looks thick.]
Ah, did I disturb you and your reading?
no subject
Not at all. Poe is an old favorite, but a nearly-memorized one. I don't believe we've met? I'm Jonathan Crane.
no subject
[Kururu smiles back and gives him a good solid bow.]
Pleasure meeting you Crane-san. I'm Sumeragi Kururu.
no subject
[Dr Crane tilts his head, perhaps resembling, in that moment, a curious bird]
Japanese, correct?
no subject
[She giggles and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.]
That would be correct.
