(no subject)

[The onsen is absolutely covered in crows.

Every little outcropping, every bit of wood or stone or anything that sticks out enough for the crows to perch on is perched on. There aren't so many that the building is completely black with them, but from afar it certainly looks as if the building has large, burnt (albeit feathery) patches and smears. The birds are slightly bigger than one would expect, but most of all they are much quieter. One would think such a large number of crows would be afire with avian conversation and squabbling, but they sit still enough, and their voices are controlled enough that they sound more like they are occasionally making great intellectual remarks rather than bird-chatter.

If one wanted to get away from the hundreds of little black eyes, they could go inside. It wouldn't work, actually, since there are still crows lurking inside the onsen, but there are significantly fewer of them, so it isn't so bad.

Isaiah himself is reclining, resplendent in his glory, in some dining hall or another; the table before him is sickeningly laden, though a great deal of the food seems to be the same thing over and over. There are no crows in the room, but there is a single oversized magpie perched placidly on a chair. Occasionally, Isaiah seems to talk to no one (which is about his style), though one could surmise he is talking to the bird.]

Fuck going home, right? This is better than home, sun or not.

(ooc: hopefully i am not b& for this!! anyway. if you so desire you can reply to Isaiah proper, or just have wild threads being creeped out by large birds watching you bathe. and eat. and sleep. thread hop etc )
