{A large, MTA NYC bus appears on the Plane, but it's not in good shape. Inside, it's empty, but there's a large dent in the front of it. The windshield is mostly shattered, and because of the damage, the lights inside of it are flickering on and off. At first, there doesn't seem to be anyone with it, but a hand darts out from under the bus, and Diva pulls herself out from under it. Most of the damage of getting hit by a bus has already healed, but there are a few odd things about her appearance. For one, she's wearing a prisoner's uniform. Two, there are broken handcuffs still attached to her wrist. And three, there are little bits of flesh stuck onto her, and she's covered with blood that mostly isn't her own.

Diva just massacred a crowd of people, after all.

She stands and leans heavily against the bus, her hands digging easily into the metal frame.}

Just shut up! Shut up, shut up, shut up!! It doesn't matter what he thinks, because he's gone! Stop asking!

WHERE IS IT?! Who keeps asking?! I'll kill you too, just please, leave me alone! Please, just...

{See, it's not so bad when she dies and lets it heal, but it's not fun when her body basically goes "tough shit"

So when this bullet doesn't kill her, Diva curls up on her side and screams in pain as it heals.}

[usually he'd care. usually he'd stop and try and help her

but he doesn't. not this time. she broke his trust. she murdered who knows how many people. she reminds him of how much he failed when he didn't stop her last time

so instead of helping her, he simply shoots her again]

{Luckily Diva had the sense to move this time, but now she's bleeding profusely as she tries to drag herself back under the bus for cover.

For the refined and delicate queen that Gene knew the best, she's fallen a long way. But Diva is scared for many reasons.}

[finishes off his clip, then reloads] Did they try and run away too, Diva? Did they crawl for cover before you ripped them apart?

{She doesn't make it to the bus, so she just curls onto her side, breathing hard as she tries to answer}

{But she stops as she coughs up a large amount of black blood}

Yeah? Well I gave you more than enough chances and you turned around and bloody backstabbed me, you lying broad.

[aims again, but doesn't shoot] How many did you kill?

{swallows, then she speaks more loudly}

I don't know.

[nods, aiming just to her side so he won't hit her and shoots] That's seven. More or less, you think?

{Silence}

[shoots again] Eight.

{She pauses, then murmurs just loud enough for Gene to hear}

[fires four more, emptying the clip ~~because I'm assuming it's a six-chamber barrel and don't feel like double-checking~~] Should I bother continuing?

{She tries to stand, but she can only get to a very shaky kneel before she collapses again, coughing up more blood.}

[just looks at her dispassionately and holsters his gun] You make me sick.

...Why?

I thought you were better than this.

Looks like I was wrong.

I'm...sorry, then. I just can't do anything right lately.

{She spits up some more blood, but then holds her sides more tightly}

Ne...I wish I could be "Diva" after all, but neither one seems to be working.
