[oh look, it's a wild Straxus back on the Plane, sans gloves and that cap, and is currently wandering around aimlessly, having already taken a little stroll through the forest and is on his way to...something. he doesn't wander because he's lost but because there's so much to see and currently, he's stopped in his tracks and thinking of where to go next.

the Plane's free from Gallifrey's eyes, and most assuredly from the CIA and the High Council--he's been busy discreetly checking his sources for such a thing in the reports--and such a degree of, well, he hesitates to use the word "freedom" because really, he loves his people and his world. but it's a change and if there's something the general populace of Time Lords don't adapt well to, it's change.

of course, the downside of the lack of surveillance on the Plane is that no one will ever believe him about the Doctor surviving his fall, Omega being alive, or that the Master is for that matter (not that he's bothered to tell anybody, not even Coordinator Bulek) and boy, is he still smarting from that last encounter with that particular renegade Time Lord. still, that doesn't mean he's going to avoid the Plane because of one lunatic.

[resists the urge to laugh again. barely.] Somehow, I'm not surprised. [he is pleased that Straxus enjoys it though, and makes himself a banana one when he's done with his first drink. and finishing off Straxus' gin and tonic. >>]

[smiles] Glad to hear it. [and he quietly sips his own drink for a bit, simply enjoying the company. Well, sort of. At the same time, he's trying not to remember everything he's lost...trying not to remember that Straxus is gone the moment he steps off the Plane. That Gallifrey is gone.]

Er. Yeah, I met Omega briefly myself. [and he's sort of hoping he uh, doesn't meet him again any time soon. THANKS A LOT, MASTER.] And the Master you mentioned. If he's the scrawny one in the suit, anyway. [pauses] Romana's here, too. And a few more of my selves.

I see. [admittedly, meeting Omega was a very interesting encounter for him as well.] Well, I've only met one Master thus far, the younger looking one without a beard.

I haven't yet run into the former Madame President, nor have I gone out of my way to find her to discuss this place. [but don't mind him if he sags a bit in his seat hearing that bit of news.] More? Dear lord, how many more of you are are there here?

[chuckles] That's him. And I've met two more versions of my Tenth self, neither of which are apes, and an alternate Fifth self. Apparently there was another alternate me wandering about too, but I dunno if he's still here. [smirks a bit] I'm sure there are more of us I haven't met yet. And if there aren't, there ought to be.

I like the "safety in numbers" theory better. 'Cause you know, if anyone's going to sort this place out, it's going to be us. [yes, he knows that's not exactly what Straxus meant, but he's even avoiding talking about avoiding a certain incarnation. and really, it's just one. :|]
