[Dino appears on the plane with a faint yelp, juggling something between his hands as if it were very hot or very dangerous. He's so focused on what he's holding that he doesn't realize he's appeared almost in the kitchen and manages to walk into one of hte counters. He almost falls over it as the object he's holding hits the counter top. The pop can rolls along the counter for a bit then manages to come to roll to a stop spilling purple liquid the whole way. Dino stares at it in disbelief then sighs.]

I was trying to avoid something like this.

[He covers his nose with his sleeve as a noxious smell fills the air. The purple liquid bubbles and gives off a faint hiss as it starts to eat through the counter.]

[Dr Crane stares, incredulous, in mid-bite of some corn on the cob]

[Dino notices him and looks a bit embarrassed] Don't worry, I'll find a way to clean it up! I hope.

Are you all right?

Yeah, I think I am. I didn't get any of that on me.

Good God, man! Didn't your mother ever tell you to not bring acid to public places. Nah, probably not. Sucks for you, anyways.

*Approaching the kitchen, Danny sort of wants to touch the liquid, but decides to get his hands away from it when he notices it's eating its way through a kitchen counter.*

What's that supposed to be?

Someone else had already brought it into a public place back home. It was either take it here or stay back there and try to come up with an excuse as to why I wasn't drinking it.

[Dino trying to figure out how you clean up acid]
I think it used to be soda. Now I'm not really sure what it is.

Soda?! How'd you get soda to...melt a kitchen a counter?

Why would you drink that anyways? Got a death wish?

What is it? I have done some amount of work with chemicals; I may be able to help clean it up.

...I'm actually not sure what it is. I think it started off as soda, but then Bianchi got a hold of it.

No one would want to drink something like that, but Bianchi is the one that brought all of us drinks. She'd demand to know why none of us were drinking them.

I didn't do anything to it. Anything Bianchi handles just...ends up like that.

Bianchi? Who's that? And how can anyone turn soda into something--*cough cough the fumes, oh god!* that toxic?

It seems to be acting as an acid...

[Crane disappears, and returns a moment later in a ~~mad scientist's~~ lab coat, complete with coat and hazardous material container]

So you're saying this is supposed to be cooking?

I think this was just a can of soda, but around Bianchi everything edible or drinkable ends up the same.

This Bianchi is sounding like the worst cook that I've ever heard of. And I know some pretty damn terrible ones.

[Hardly the oddest thing that Dino has scene here, so he just watches with interest] I wonder how strong of an acid it is...

Bianchi is a woman I know. As to how she does things like this...I stopped trying to figure it out a long time ago. It just seems to...happen to anything edible she gets her hands on.

Hopefully not too strong. [he holds the bucket out to Dino] Would you mind filling this half-way with water?

*cringe* She doesn't normally do the cooking, does she?

No, we try to keep her away from the kitchen as much as possible.

[Takes the bucket. He caused the mess, he should at least help clean it up] Will do. [He heads off..and does return with the bucket half full, but only after much yelping, splashing, and somehow managing to more water on himself than he got in the bucket.]

She probably is the worst cook you've heard up. There is a reason she's know as 'Poison Scorpion'.

[Crane makes a note to himself not to leave this kid with anything dangerous ever again]

[as Dino fills the bucket, Crane has already set to diluting the substance with water, careful to keep away from any dangerous fumes or vapours. He takes the bucket back from Dino and, using what looks remarkably like a rubber squeegee, guides the spill back into the bucket]

Oh, that's good.

Does she even realize she turns food into...*One glance towards the 'soda'* this stuff?

...With a name like that, why do people keep letting her cook? Screw her feelings at that point.

No one lets her cook. She just goes ahead and does it without caring what everyone else thinks.

[He looks thoughtful] I'm not really sure. Sometimes it seems like she's aware and uses it as a weapon, but there are other times where she doesn't seem to realize what she's doing.

Does she think she can "turn off" the lethal-food thing or something?

Maybe. Or she might just think she can be..selective about who her cooking affects. I've seen her offer it to the man she has a crush on, sure that he won't be poisoned because her love will protect him.

This lady really sounds like she's missing a few pieces of the jigsaw puzzle.

[Crane would probably not want to know that Dino cares a gun then.]

[Dino is watching with some interest] What are we going to do with it now?

[he'd be surprised Dino hasn't accidentally shot himself with it]

Now I need Milk of Magnesia and a universal indicator. We're going to neutralize the acid.

[His first thought is to drop, but then he remembers where he is] There might actually be some of that stuff floating around here. I haven't looked through all this cabinets yet and you find all sorts of odd things on the Plane.

[setting the bucket down carefully]

It's worth looking. [forgot to stock up last time he was stealing supplies]

[Dr Crane starts searching through the cabinets]

That's one of the truest statements I've heard about her. At least she's loyal.
