58/we'll run for our lives
[Martha appears with her chain-gang buddy on the Plane, looking apologetic and holding an I-Spyder certificate]
Sorry about that. I didn't mean to get you caught up in all of it, but---well. [now, to put on the silver lining--] You're a pretty good running partner, you know. I didn't think we could beat a sabertooth chained like this.
[A smile from Mu as she answers] I would have carried you if I thought it had a chance of overtaking us. You're quite the runner yourself, Miss Jones.
You have to be, if you're going to travel on the TARDIS. So. [looks down at the chain connected their legs] Any ideas?
[Mu crouches next to the chain, picking it up to examine more closely] I've been trying to break it with Cosmo, but it's not having any effect at all. I'd be worried, but given that it's from the Plane, I'm not really surprised. Things like this generally wear off.
...So we're just going to have to work with it until it disappears?
I suppose we will. [Mu looks up at Martha with a small smile] It's a good thing we enjoy each other's company, hm?
[She can't help but grin back] And it's a good thing you're a good runner, because there is going to be a lot of that.

Oh Mu, I'm so terribly sorry for your unfortunate circumstances. You certainly don't deserve them.

Excuse me?

You have your faults, Miss Jones, but I never realised being deaf was one of them.

[He is clearly talking to Mu and ignoring his pink hair. Isaiah can only deal with so much at a time.]
