[A mass of robes appears on the Plane. At first it seems just that— a pile of clothes— but then there are frustrated noises, movements beneath the robes, and a head pops up. The little wizard rights himself and stands up to his full height, which... isn’t that impressive, especially with such voluminous clothes. He looks regal, at least, if not a bit young. Icy discerning eyes take in the surroundings. He smacks his staff once on the starry ground.]

Incredible. This is...

[Now he walks around, marveling at the galaxies whirling around him.]

This is certainly not Cephiro, nor any land I’ve ever visited. It’s almost like I’ve entered a higher state of awareness. But there’s a strange disconnect— No, no, that’s not right. Something isn’t right. I wonder what it could be...

It’s so familiar, and yet I can’t quite place it.

[He inspects a salt shaker like it’s some kind of historical artifact, sniffs it, then sneezes.] ... It’s pepper. [He sets it back down.] While all of this is very intriguing, I do have an appointment to get back to. Tea with a neighboring country. Now where is the way out...?

The Astral Plane - because of the stars, you see. And I don't know a hell of a lot about it either, aside from the fact that it's here, and you can go back home or come here just by thinking it. ...No, I don't know how that works. I'm betting it's some kind of magic.
