[Mu is sitting at the little wooden table he was at not too long ago. There is a small, clay decanter  beside him on the table, about half full.

[His head is resting on his hand, which, in turn is propped up on the table itself. His eyes are closed and for all he's moving, he may well be asleep.  It may, in fact, be very easy to think so...until one notices the small stack of pebbles roughly in the centre of the table, which are floating and arranging themselves in cute little patterns, shifting every few seconds until they finally arrange themselves into a pillar.

[Slowly his eyes open, and the pebbles, one by one, slip off their little tower and into a star pattern on the table. Mu sighs.]

I can't stand being in that temple with the entire Sanctuary so absolutely depressed.

I'm rather inclined to agree. [Grabs his decanter and heads off to the bar to dig out some Sake]

[She follows so that she can help him select a good one, though of course all the modern brands are ones she doesn't recognize.]

[He pulls out a few and kinda...stares at them, wondering which to give her.] I don't suppose you can judge quality based on smell?

I can, actually! At least, I can recognize excellent sake when I smell it.

[Uncorks the bottles and puts them at her level] For your consideration then, my lady. I've never had sake before, so I will leave it up to you.

[She sniffs.] Ah yes, this will do just fine.

And is there something more appropriate than a wine glass to drink this out of?

[After a moment more of fishing, he stands up with two in hand and holds them out her for inspection]

Very good then. [He sets them down and fills them with the sake Ammy chose, then offers her a cup]

[By the time he offers the drink, Ammy has transformed to human. She accepts the cup delicately and takes a seat, then sips slowly.] Ah, yes. Delicious.

[He also sips, blinking a bit at the flavour] My, this is different.

Sake is very highly valued in Nippon.
