[Hey look, it's an Ammy! She is pacing back and forth on the Plane near the Plane Hole, growling at nothing and generally looking antsy and pissed off. After pacing for awhile she sits down, her ears back and her eyes narrowed.]

"And the accursed arrow shall mark the home of the chosen maiden." I had forgotten how much that damn snake annoys me. First the Celestial Plain, then the battle 100 years ago, and now with everything repeating...that snake has truly died more times than a nine-lived cat!

Ah, and this on top of this angel business...I should have been keeping closer track of the time. I had barely noticed the moon waxing to full.

[She sighs and calms herself down a little, though she still looks rather disgruntled.] There is nothing for it, really. Orochi must be stopped, yet again.

Ah...an old, old enemy has returned yet again. I knew he had, but the time has come now to face him...and I suppose I was hoping that he would simply leave things be this time. Silly of me, I know.

Hello, Shion. I apologize--I was simply, ah..."venting" is the word, I think. An old enemy of mine has returned. I've suspected for some time that he was around again, but I suppose I was holding onto the hope that he hadn't. And now I have run out of time.

Orochi always chooses a sacrifice from the village every year--rather, he did when he was alive. Now that he has returned, the rite of sacrifice begins again. I must stop him before he devours Kushi.

An eight-headed serpent demon, and a rather tenacious and vicious fellow. He habitually chooses a sacrifice from the village once a year by firing an arrow at the house of the chosen maiden. He has been dead for the past hundred years, but he has, most unfortunately, returned.
