Turning away, it's evident that there's something 'off' about Isaac. He seems....not drunk persay, but definitely slightly 'out of it.' It seems to wear off after some time on the plane though, especially as he wanders over towards the kitchen for something to eat.]

Well, you have ... metal in your world. Right? So, imagine a person made out of metal. No real brain, not like ours, no blood, no skin, nothing like that. It's an entirely synthetic thing. And then what it has instead of our brains is a program. If you know what that is.

Really! I've seen a lot since I started travelling. And basically, a program is a set of instructions for the robot to process. But it's so advanced that it's about as complicated as our own minds.

It's really incredible. So, basically, walking, talking people made entirely of metal and computer chips. Well not computer chips any more, the Doctor says that silicon hit the end of its functionality long before really advanced robots came along, but that's more or less it. And then you start getting the post-humanism stuff, like humans who are part robot, or animal, or whatever, or humans who've had kids with other alien species and things. That's what it gets really weird. [stops] I wonder how the doctors handle the variety.

It is. I love every minute of it. ...Most minutes of it. Some of them are pretty scary. But when it's amazing, it really is amazing. Just... none of the magic your world seems to have.
