Evening Primrose, actually. I'm sure I told you about them. They were Amber's organization, before she died.

There's some of them left. They're stationed in Shanghai.

They want to meet me and form an alliance with the Constellation.

Sounds like something they'd do.

Assuming it's even them. Even if it is, who knows if they really want an alliance? Or if that alliance would be the best thing for other Contractors.

Besides, they clearly know what you're doing and how to find you. Would you rather risk making an enemy out of them?

That's the problem. I don't have much of a choice. That's the part I don't like.

Then try and get something on them. Play by their rules, but look for a backup plan. Usually works for me.

Very well. Eighty-six Contractors freed so far.

There's no way of telling.

There are maybe a few hundred thousand Contractors the world over. The majority of them will be employed by the Syndicate. The majority also won't want to be cut off from the Syndicate; I've told you before, they might want to kill us all, but the Syndicate is the only organization that will knowingly employ a Contractor.

So...we've made a dent. A small one. Contractors are starting to wake up.

Well, just don't make an island nation full of them. That never works out.
