and all at once I owned the Earth and sky
[Martha Jones appears on the Plane, wary of the invisible flooring but obviously in love with the scenery]
Okay… At least the ground is solid. Probably. Still a bit freaky, though maybe it isn't--is that a beach?
[with one last look at the ground, Martha makes her way to the beach. She seems happier on somewhat-more solid ground]
Much better. [Martha turns her head up to the sky] God, look at all the stars… [of course, the entire thing is just weird as far as physics are concerned. All the galaxies and nebulae are too near to each other and should probably be warping one another at these distances, but it all looks too perfect] Maybe it's a planetarium of some sort, 'cause it can't be an observatory…
[Martha could sit here and wait for someone to find her, or…]
Probably should stay where I am and wait. It would be very reckless and irresponsible to wander off, wouldn’t it? [a bit of a grin crosses her face] So I think I’ll go… this way.
[And Martha heads off in the direction of the Colosseum]

It would be feeding his ego if he knew we were talking about him. What about you? You never mentioned what you're doing now. I'm obviously travelling now, then back to med school for my exams and all of that. What about you?

Oh, he'd do that thing he does, where he gets all flustered, but deep down you know he's loving it.
[pushes her hair back]
I work for this place called Torchwood. It's loads of paperwork and sometimes we get to save the world. More paperwork than you'd think, they never tell you that part.

[beams for a moment, proud of herself for getting it in one try, and then tones it down, just a notch, because Martha the doctor in training would get it with no trouble the first tiime, but she's still grinning, and she'll let out a small sigh and chew on her lip for a moment]
So if that is an alien, what other sorts have you seen?

Thing like that. There's... Judoon, Carrionites, Macra, Daleks, a Mantasphid? I think that's what it was. The Hervoken, Cybermen, Species 9 and 27.... those are all I can remember the names of.

So Macra, what are they like? Scary?

They're giant crabs, really. Feeding off of all the smog from human traffic jams. They were terrifying when we were down there and they were going to get us, but the Doctor says that they aren't as smart or dangerous as they used to be. Not after the billions of years since their height.

Gotta be one big traffic jam, I bet, if giant crabs were living there.
