Artifact 03: Brooch of Love
[ Angela had been absent from the Plane for a bit before the whole Octopese fiasco (which is now over for her, thank you!), and is now going back to using the Plane to her advantage. She's currently going through a bag of strange objects, anyone who has spoken to her at length before can probably assume they're all artifacts. At one point she's having trouble keeping track of them all, and thus takes one of the smaller of the group-- a simple ornamental pin-- and attaches it to her clothes before going about reorganizing her bag-o-magic-stuff.
She really needs to learn not to go pinning things that she doesn't understand to her clothing. ]
((OOC: Okay, extensive OOC note for this artifact. Considering the name, you'd think it'd be the jewelry version of Alien Sex Pollen-- and it can be! But that's not all it does. The Brooch of Love alters emotional reactions to the wearer. This means your character can see her as a sibling they never had, a mentor, a pupil, a mother, a rival, an enemy, a best friend, a girlfriend... Or it can simply not affect your character at all. It's an imperfect artifact after all. And because it's imperfect, it will also affect her in the same way. So if your character views her as a little sister, she will view your character like an older sibling. It does not, however, alter memories. So while they'll feel like family, they won't have memories of growing up together. Characters may clue into the emotions being "wrong" while still in her presense or they may not, but regardless, once they're a good ten feet away from her, the feelings will go away.
Basically, use this however you want to. If you've been itching to have your character be in a fight, she can be the enemy. If you think your character needs some cuddles, she can be a snuggle buddy, no strings attached. Need some torment? Angst! She'll have no choice but to indulge, since she won't know any better. I'm cool with everything short of character death, so have as much fun as you want to at her expense. And if someone manages to get the brooch off of her, it'll impact whomever wears it. ♥
TL;DR - Pin thingie affects the emotions felt for the wearer. Pick a relationship, treat her as such, I'll roll with it. \o/ ))

Look, I know I can't take it back. And it may not have entirely been my fault. [He tries for a small smile.] But I really don't want to be "that guy who stole my first kiss". That's... not really a great title to have.

Well, logically, I'd like to be a friend. If that's even possible at this point. [He holds both hands up, palms up, a gesture of surrender or... something.] But, if you'd rather, just say the word and I'll leave you alone.

Though you did steal a princess's first kiss, so making up for it isn't going to be easy.

Um. What.... what do I have to do?
no subject
Hmm, I'm sure I'll be able to think of something.

I am! And I'll make it up to you somehow, I just rather like my head attached. [He laughs that off like a joke at first... but then he looks nervous.] None of your knights or something have access to here, do they?
And when you do, just let me know. I'd ask if my lady is kind, but I'm just going to work under the assumption that you can't be that bad since you had mercy and didn't fry me. [Smile~?]

[ Grin. ] You may wish I'd fried you, depending on what I come up with.
