Scene 034 - New era?

[Lately, there were strange things going on in Romeo's and Juliet's world... 'Monsters' started to appear out of nowhere. Juliet didn't remember that ANY monster had exist in their world, but now there are a plenty of them, attacking people even. The police trying to cover it up as a mysterious murderer's doing, but definitely something 'human'. But since pro ATers aren't really legal mostly, they know a little more about them. They even encountered a few.

And that's how Juliet is holding a flyer with this mysterious thing's pic on it, with a big "THE HUNT! The real Rider's challenge!" text and a link under it.]

Ara~ if it isn't interesting... Hunting~ But it would be more interesting if we would know more about the prey~! [Eyes picture a little wary.]

Well, since they've decided to go over to your reality, I suppose there must be some truth in that.

You can't get rid of them. We do have a spray designed to keep them away, though. Perhaps you'd like me to give you a demonstration?

If you've got anything to do with the recent increase in street performing roller bladers, I'm afraid I beg to differ.

[He drops, and when he returns he has a Weevil on a chain and a bottle of spray.] This is Janet. We've been keeping her in our cells for over a year now, and in that time she's only caused one fatality.

[Alright, this is Juliet staring...] Janet? [He can only ask as he eyes the creature.] Don't tell me these things are supposed to be pets!

Of course not. Jack just likes to name them. It's a quirk of his. [Janet eyes Juliet right back, lips drawing back in a snarl. She looks as if she might want to take a bite out of his throat, so Ianto gives her a spray, just in case. She doesn't look any less vicious, but she backs down, and even if she doesn't look it she has been subdued a little bit.]

My, having quite a lot of free time, aren't you... [Discretely stepping back. Distance is better.] Ara... And it works on all of them~~?

Not enough free time. [Shortening her chain, so he has maximum control over her. There's a reason he's never brought her here before, and the last thing he needs right now is a Weevil attack.] All of them. They become immune to it over time, so when they do let me know. you could tell Owen instead if you wanted, but Jack's from a different time to us so his Weevil sprays might not be as effective.

Well, I can hardly let you get overrun by Weevils, can I? Just make sure anyone who's likely to be fighting them gets some, alright?

And by a 'different time' I mean his Weevil spray will be useless to you. [i.e. None of your business. :|]

[PS- it might be a good idea not to annoy him whilst Janet's around. She thinks humans are yummy.] It isn't supposed to make me more mysterious and appealing. It's supposed to persuade you to respect my privacy.

[Juliet thinks Ianto is too much of a good guy to do anything rush!] Mm, with our realities apparently merging, that statement might change too~! Oh, the things the theater can make with the heart~

[He'll just fantasise about letting the chain slip instead.] Just because we've merged, that doesn't mean I have to like you. If anything it's a sign we need to spend less time together.

Just making sure. Although Macbeth seemed eager to go after them, I told him I'd ask you first and then he gave me this look, but I suppose he was having a bad day~~ I wish these things would leave though, they look incredibly uncivilized!
