[It's been a while since the Griever put in an appearance on the Plane. Currently, he's flying about eight-to-ten feet above the 'ground', and surveying the area. He's not quite sure what he's looking for, but... after the surprise of an alternate version of himself and his brother, it never hurts to check for something new. Strapped to his belt is a metal thermos with green paneling interspersed on it.

Rule of kids' TV says those who know Chris won't recognize him as the Griever, despite the only differences being in his eyes turning to a glowing red, his hair turning blond, and his voice gaining and echo quality—unless you already know the secret. Let's just go with it, shall we?]

(ooc: Totally open post. Anyone and everyone should come bug the neurotic halfa. o/)

Yeah, that sounds like it'd get boring pretty fast. [How else are you going to get the attention of the ladies? Gosh~]

You should try it sometime. [Not that you'll... ever get the chance. ~~Ladies? What ladies? There are like, no ladies on the Plane. Aside from Diva.~~]

Try... what, not being seen? I'm not exactly capable of invisibility powers, you know. Though that would be pretty awesome. [~~He knows this. He does not like the reminder, either. :|~~]

It's really not all it's cracked up to be. Trust me. [~~There's always your own reality for picking up chicks. :|~~]

Well, what would you do if you were invisible? Think about it. Sure, you could watch people without being seen, but what does that achieve?

Might get me a promotion if I find out the right kind of things... [Give him a second, he'll realize how that sounds. ... ... ... There we go.] Oh hey, wait, no. Not like... blackmail or anything. Just what the heck they actually want me to do. You know?

[He shrugs a shoulder.] I have the kind of boss that says one thing and meas another. Nothing important.

... Right. [He doesn't look horribly convinced, Kuhn.]

[That's okay. Kuhn's got nothing to prove to him.]

Ah well. Name's Kuhn, what's yours?

Kuhn... Don't have one. You can call me the Griever.

Nice to meet you, Griever. [Pause...] If it's any of my business, what are you grieving?

... Well, I am a ghost.

[Gives him an "I'm not that dumb. :|" look. ~~Don't let it fool you~~]

Well, yeah. Just wondering if there was something else keeping you unable to cross over, or... something. I really don't know a lot about ghosts. They're pretty much just stories in my world.

[The Griever rolls his eyes halfway, and leans back on the air, as if reclining.]

Where I come from, even if a ghost has passed on, they can still come back and haunt people. Well... now that a portal is open.

A portal? To a... ghost world, or something? That's really weird. Isn't that like opening a door to the dead?

Zone. And... basically, yeah. It's kind of problematic for the still-living, I'd imagine. [Including himself, but Kuhn doesn't need to know that.]

Yeah, probably a lot of people going to the land of the living for all the wrong reasons. But, does that mean the living can go to the Ghost, er, Zone?

It's generally not advised.

Heh. Yeah, I'd think not.

So, who are you haunting?

... Haunting? Who said I'm haunting anyone?

You'd said that ghosts came through the portal to haunt people. I guess I assumed you were haunting someone, too.

[Shrug.] Well, that's what you get for assuming.
