[Wyatt appears near the Chinese turtleduck pond in a mass of blue orbs. Unfortunately, he just overshot his target location: the top of the Golden Gate Bridge. Although he never had much reason to think before, Wyatt found himself coming to his father's old favorite location to think more and more since Chris's conversion to evil.

Looking around at the unexpected scenery, he scratched the back of his head as he realized he had returned to the astral plane on accident.]

I really need to get the hang of this...

Uh... kind of. Temporarily. [Slight headshake. Stupid spider demons.] What happened to him?

Okay... [It was obvious Greevin was hinting at something, but didn't want to say before he knew for sure.]

He was hit with an anger spell two years ago and hasn't been the same since. We vanquished the demon and everything, but it seemed to have no effect. Apparently, he had some anger against Dad bottled up, and the spell caused it to burst. He's been living in a hideout somewhere in the underworld, where I'm guessing he picked up that crossbow.

... Against Dad? No way. [That part, at least, sounds way too familiar. But Leo said he would do better this time around, right? Would he have really fallen into the same trap twice...? There's nothing else Chris could think of that would cause another version of himself to lose control like that.]

And why the Underworld? It's not exactly the safest place for a Whitelighter to live.

He's tried to kill Dad a few times already, both when he was under and free of the spell. [Wyatt recognized that Greevin was in shock but lying to him wouldn't help. If Greevin knew something that could help, he probably needed to know as much as possible for it to work. For some reason, Wy just trusted this "alternate" Chris. Sure, he might be a shapeshifter demon or whatnot, but Wyatt wanted to believe that this was the reason why he was brought to the astral plane in the first place: to find a way to bring his own Chris back to his senses before he went beyond the point of no return.]

It's the only place where we'd have a hard time tracking him. He's been learning and stealing abilities from demons I think, unless pyrokinesis happens to be one of your future powers?

[He lets out a ragged breath.] I thought you said he didn't get the crossbow until after?

Uh. No. ... come to think of it, I'm not even sure how old he is. He could be farther ahead of me. How's he stealing powers? A spell or something?

[Confused look] Why would he need a crossbow to kill Dad? I mean he has good reflexes, but it's not like he's immortal or anything.

He's 22 this year and he's using an athame to steal powers.

An athame? [Like on Witch Wars?] That one, at least, can be easily fixed. I think. I mean... depending on how easily you think you can get it from him.

Last I checked. [It sounds sarcastic, even though it's been months since he's last seen Leo, and he's pretty sure the guy must have done something drastic to set the Natural Order back on balance.]

Hmm... the only thing that could stop you from learning it is a strong negativity. [Pseudo-psychiatrist voice in a semi-joking tone] Have you been experiencing any feelings of hate?

All right... [Still isn't very comfortable with the idea of pulling up a shield at the last minute]

Do you know anything that might be able to snap him out of it?

... uhhh, well, not right off the top of my head. If it stemmed out of some real issue that the anger spell originally brought to light, then that's going to be harder than just, say, reversing a spell. Which I'm sure you already know.

Joking, Chris. Just joking. Still, I don't know why you wouldn't be able to develop healing now other than not having any chances to practice it.

Right. Melinda and I tried about 20 different reversal spells. Have you talked with him yet? Maybe you can make some sense out of what he's feeling?

Oh. [Well, that's... Well. He doesn't know what to say to that. Good? Obviously, it's good. Having a sister. ... Piper and Leo must have been so scared after Wyatt was kidnapped in Chris's own timeline, that they never thought about having another kid. But not in the new one.]

She's smarter than both of us put together. [Laughs] Melinda writes all the spells for us and mediates between us whenever we're fighting. She's really understanding, kind of like Mom.

[Now he's more positive than ever that the other Chris is just some sort of spoiled brat. He's got a Wyatt who's good, a mother who—judging by what Wyatt just said—is still alive, and a little sister. But he still turned evil because Daddy didn't love him? Ffft.]
