[ Finally, neccessity wins out over pride, and Angela flops onto the Plane.

Either rope is the newest fashion statement in Fa'Diel, or she's been bound. At the elbows, wrists, knees, ankles. And of course there's a gag. No point in tying up a mage if you don't gag them, right?

After a pause to stare at the Plane and huff through her nose in relief that it's still here, she starts attempting to wriggle free of the ropes. ]

It's not so much their job as it is what they are. There have been living toys, too. My grand-aunt used them as soldiers in the war.
