{Today, Diva tows along a few unusual items with her to the Plane. She appears sitting in a plain chair at an equally plain table, which isn't that extraordinary, but on the table sits a variety of items. There's a small book (opened to pages on cleaning burns), a large bowl of water, bandages, and towels.
Diva herself is wearing the unusual outfit (for her) of jeans and a t-shirt, with bandages wrapped around both of her wrists. For anyone that knows her, they might assume that the bandages are just for show, but as she unwraps the bandages carefully until raw, bloody flesh is revealed underneath. The blood, of course, is black. Her expression stays absolutely cold and focused all throughout, but as she hesitantly dips her hands into the bowl of water, she can't help but gasp, bowing her head at the pain.
Thanks, Mu! But Diva will be delicately trying to wash the burns she got trying to stop Hei from breaking shit.}

{Normally, she would take his hand, but instead she smiles a bit more}
I guess it's just that it'd be so sad to lose you, Sam. I don't know if I could handle that.

Ne, you'll make me blush if you say something that nice.

It's only the truth.

Well, it's a very nice truth. None of my Chevalier ever said anything quite that...sweet, I guess. Not that they weren't there when I would go to sleep, but they would just say goodnight or something like that. It was kind of like the didn't expect me to wake up, in a way. Or maybe they forgot about me all together while I slept.
{That thought seems to bother her, so she purses her lips}
Ah, that wouldn't be very nice at all!

I don't believe they forgot you.

{She smiles again}
Why do you say that?

{She finally seems satisfied with the cleanliness of her burns, so she takes them out of the water to start to dry them very delicately and bandage them again}
Thirty years is a long time to wait anyways. You'd really have to care for someone to wait that long, right? I mean, I don't think it was quite that for my Chevalier, since they were bond to me, but...I guess they still could have run away if they really wanted to.

{She smiles, then softly}
Ne, he found Josef, after all.

Of course I do. Josef...Well, after what he did, I wanted him to die. I thought about it, and I love the memories that he gave me, and my memory of him. But...it wasn't really true, so my Josef isn't the real Josef.
{That makes her uncomfortable, so she looks down at her bandages, talking about Amshel instead}
But that's just the truth of it for Amshel. I know that he died, but when I came back, the military had taken his body. I tried to talk to them, but they wouldn't tell me what really happened, or if they even knew. But we always knew that. Amshel told me for a long time that if he were to die, there wouldn't be a funeral, and the body should be gotten rid of so that no one could ever find it. He told me that I had to do that if he ever died, so it's too bad that I couldn't.

[Amshel, in Sam's head, isn't the sort of person who'd care after he was gone, or believe that he'd kick it]
