[ The pain surged throughout his physical form. Where an arm and a good chunk of body once was now hung only tattered bits of cloth and a gloved hand gripping the gaping wound. The staff dropped to the ground with a clatter as he fell to his knees on the Astral Plane. Seething in pain his body hunched over, allowing his violet hair to fan out on the ground. Up and down his back moved, gasping for air through gritted teeth as blood trickled down the corner of his mouth.

His cloak tattered from the attack so graciously caste upon him by Gaav, Xellos was unaware of the fact that this trip to the Astral Plane was unlike any other he had been to before. All of his attention was focused on the pain that surged through this human-like body. But anyone watching would notice that there was no sign of blood seeping from the gaping injury - not a single drop. Instead there was nothing but nothingness.

No, really, it was black and empty, void of all physical being. ]

D- damn it... !

[ All the while he grunted and cursed the Demon Dragon King for this. It was going to take time to heal this injury, let alone grow back his arm. Had it not been for the fact that he had recognized the Hellmaster back in the physical plane, he certainly would have been a goner. But his task was finished the moment he caught sight of Phibrizzo.

And here he was, writhing in pain, blissfully unaware at first what was going on around him or the fact that this astral plane was not the one from his own reality. ]

[ Eyes snapping open at the voice, he sits up immediately only to mentally cursing him for doing so as another wave of pain surged through his being. There was someone else on the plane? But only ones like himself could-- Gritting his teeth he only stared at first before forcing a pained grin on his lips. ]

W- well now, and here I thought I could have a little quality time to myself... !

Not here, you can't! Lots of people can come here, after all. It's not a lonely place.

[ His expression faltered for a split second, his hand gripping the gaping space that used to be a good piece of his body. This wasn't the Astral Plane - or at least not the one he was familiar with. It felt different. ] I... I see.

Not quite what you were expecting, I suppose. I haven't seen you here, so you must be new. Ne, but I've never seen someone arrive in quite this shape!

It was hardly my intention to-- [ Fuck this wound. Ow. ] -- To come here. My destination was another location entirely.

Oh, I don't plan on dying at all-- [ His eyes were closed by now, trying to focus his strength and magic on the wound. ]

There wouldn't be any! Ne, but there's no blood, so that's especially not fun! Nothing to eat. ♥

Mm, not always! But it's curious. We have incredible people here, but I don't think there are any that can stay alive with that kind of injury.
