[have some of the TARDIS wardrobe set out on the Plane. You might see things like this and this and this, along with all types of other clothes as well. Handy is going through it, looking for some clothes to get by before he replenishes his wardrobe. He holds a shirt up against his chest as he studies his reflection in a floor length mirror and then quickly tosses it aside, going back to sort through the racks of clothing]

It is a bit of an adjustment. You get used to one face and one voice and one personality and then...well, it is an adjustment.
But, you know it's still me now. You know there are about five other Doctors roaming around here last I checked as well.

Guess I just might figure out what it's like first hand, someday. Was it weirdest the first time?
I heard there were a few around - haven't run into any yet.

It's - well, I'm not sure how to put it, I think it's different for everyone. Some people it's terrifying, exciting, or just like changing your wardrobe. It all depends on the person.
Well, there are two who look like me. One that came before meeting you, and one who I'm guessing is right where you are now. And one right before me.

I can't imagine it'd be so easy as changing clothes - I've grown quite attached to this look of mine.
My Professor is still the one I first met. He - you - hasn't regenerated yet. But something's coming, isn't it? Changes, even on Gallifrey there's signs.
[Shakes here head] No, don't answer that. I don't think I'm meant to know yet.

Like I said, for some it is, for some it's not. I always found it a bit difficult to say goodbye too, but then you get up and you have this new face and you fall in love with the new person you become as well.
[studies her for a moment, and does want to say something, but he stops himself]
So, how is Gallifrey treating you?

[It's a little too much sentiment, even for this more grown up and maturing Ace. She throws up a tiny bit of a barrier, reverting to her usual bluster.]
It's a'right, I guess. Classes are more interesting then I thought they'd be, and I seem t' be holding my own well enough. Your mate Romana's had me up for tea a time or three and there's a few other student's I've been able to talk to a little. As for the rest of 'em... [shrugs]

Romana! She's here as well. How are you two getting on?
I had a few mates I stuck close to at the Academy as well. The rest, well...[shrugs also]

She's better one the doors are closed and she can relax a bit - when we met at the Academy or anywhere in the Citadel she's all Madame President-y. I can't ever see us being best mates, but it's nice to have someone to talk to that's know like outside Gallifrey.

[might look a little nostalgic for a moment]
And despite some of the faults, Gallifrey is gorgeous, isn't it?
[and just as soon as it comes he switches his attention to a velvet coat]
Haven't seen this in years.

Ace plucks the velvet coat away from him and shakes her head]
No. Really, it's just... no. The TARDIS should know better then to keep things like this where you can get to them. Don't you own any normal clothes?
[She digs through the scattered clothing and emerges victorious with a Sex Pistols t-shirt and light weight black coat.]
This is more like it, mate.
OOC: Damn, but I was more tired then I thought last night. Sorry for the crap grammar and confusion of that last post.

[stops short as she emerges with these new clothes]
You think I'm a punk now! Maybe I should complete the look, mohawk and everything. [a sweeping motion over his head to illustrate]
OOC: No worries, I knew what you were talking about. I get those nights, too.

I think you've already got the hair, Professor. It is rather... poofy. [She reaches up and touches a lock, amused when it springs back into place]
Besides, punks don't need mohawks. I never had one. But with the look of you now, being all skinny and young...
no subject
[his eyes watch his hair as best as eyes can]
Although, I would make a brilliant punk.
[takes the coat from her and tries it on]
Nearly got to see Ian Dury in '79. Of course, I got the coordinates a bit wrong and found myself in 1879, instead. Queen Victoria isn't nearly as much of a laugh. There was a werewolf though, that was fun. Well, when I say fun I don't mean fun, but, well it was a bit fun.

Tough call, between punk concert and werewolfs. I'd have to flip a coin.
no subject
Well, the TARDIS is always good at making those sort of tough calls for us.
