[Arthur sits at his desk, hunched slightly forward, his head resting somewhat on his hand. He's got a history book opened up in front of him, several more stacked around him. Its opened to one of the chapters regarding World War II.

His expression is hinted with confusion, sadness, and anger. But mostly, he just looks very tired. In his left hand is the pocket watch, and h keeps flipping the face open and close, never really looking at it]

It is the way of the universe. You rule or you serve, and some people aren't happy serving, and some people want to rule more. Ooh, this is a bit of a Marxist interpretation, isn't it? The point is, the universe is composed of people with conflicting desires, and from that, there is war.

Every structure has a point of weakness, a point where the structure of the structure destroys itself. The universe has some amount of structure; accordingly, there is a point where its structure destroys itself. Those are called rifts.

If one could get inside a universe and from there unfold the universe, so to speak - perhaps with the use of a paradox - it is possible that in refolding the universe, one could structure a universe without violence.

It's a thought.

Another thought: the Skasis Paradigm and the Agathon Equations are two ways to describe the universe - and by describing them, two ways to control it. Entirely. The universe would become easy to mould and shape.

No. No, Arthur, never. I stopped worrying about shoulds centuries ago, and I have never regretted that.

Something could go wrong though, couldn't it? The smallest mistake could have unlimited consequences....

The great thing about having near-omnipotence is that it's very easy to fix your mistakes.

No. Why should it? I would not trust another with it, but I know that I'll use it well.
