[Onto the Plane steps a rather odd-looking boy. He has spiky white hair and red eyes, and a mouthful of shark-like teeth can be seen the instant he opens his mouth to talk.]

--never mind that it's completely pointless...

[He trails off when he sees where he is and his eyes widen.]

What the--no way. How could a witch have gotten into Shibusen? Maka--!

[He whirls around, looking all over for someone who isn't there. When he sees Maka isn't around an expression of real fear flashes across his face, there and then gone.]

Maka? Maka? Where did you go? Hey, Maka, this is no time to run off!

Maa, I guess I'll tell you, even if you're being stupid. I need to run off those welcome packets. It's called the Astral Plane and you can access it from any point back home. Just try to come here and you can. Try to leave and you can, too!

[Ticks off her fingers.] Time doesn't pass. The people running this place aren't too bad to me but others have had problems with their meddling. Sometimes worlds combine and it's weird.
