[A Frog appears on the Plane. Or, more accurately, there is some kind of foul beastie impaled on a rather magnificent-- if not plain-- sort of sword, and a Frog behind it. He tosses it aside without much effort, though it seems he's been fighting a while. His burning spirit hasn't dimmed in the slightest-- not since it's been rekindled.

He pauses for a moment, blade tip resting on starry ground. The blade is easily five feet long, perhaps taller.]

Hear me, residents of the Astral Plane!

Far too long have I dwelt among you, shirking my responsibilities and fleeing my duties as a knight of Guardia. No longer shall I be that creature, no longer shall I revel in the helplessness of my state. No longer! With all of you as my witnesses, I come to you with the truth!

[He raises the sword to the heavens. The stars gleam across the blade, tracing it with a loving light; it's a God-given and magical sword after all, and he did just split a whole goddamned mountain open with it.]

My - name - is — Glenn!

For ten long years have I hid behind my own weaknesses while claiming Cyrus' dreams and hopes as my own. Now, bearing Cyrus' sword in hand and with his medal by my neck, I go henceforth to make the Fiendlord's fortress his pyre, and to restore honor and peace to all of Guardia!

I swear it, with you as my witnesses. I shall persevere!
