060: Mood to Burn Bridges

[Hei appears on the Plane sitting on a low wall surrounded in a blue glow. The glow cuts off almost instantly after he appears, and he promptly slumps forward on the wall, gripping the concrete edge to keep from falling off. He's pale and shaking a little, and black blood is flowing rather steadily from his nose. It's clear that he's exhausted, but he looks more surprised than anything.]

[He sits there panting and dripping blood onto the floor before he raises a hand to wipe it away.]

...That wasn't supposed to happen.

I was trying to sever my reality from Crowley's and I triggered my ability by accident.

You mean your "fuck time and space" ability?

That one. I can't control it. [He rubs at his face, trying to get the blood off before it dries.] Stupid. The first thing you learn is how to control your abilities. But it's like if I go deep enough into my mind, there it is.

No. Severing a reality takes days, maybe weeks. I'd only just started.

Why are you doing it anyway? Crowley's an OK guy.

Severing realities? Once before, a long time ago. That was before I even realized I had this power, so it wasn't an issue then.

I doubt it. Mion disappeared before you arrived, I think.

Nothing. She was just a kid, and she'd already had a bad experience with the Gate because of an experiment. I didn't want the Gate in her world, or anyone's world, so...I was cutting everyone off. Hers was the only one I managed to follow through on.

[mercwamouth]

Man, that Gate really fucks with everything. Sometimes I wonder if you should have just let them blow it up.
