[Two teenage delinquents appear on the Plane. The tallest one stands out quite a bit due to his crazy red hair and an equally crazy coat that could pass for punk. The shorter one looks slightly more tame, though his blond hair is quite spiky.]

I don't know how he got the recipe, but you have to... [Axel stops and looks around.] ... I didn't do it.

[Roxas also pauses in his "listening" and looks around. Then he gives Axel a skeptical look.] You sure about that? Looks like just your kind of place.

Don't get me wrong, I love the night life... but this isn't where we were going, Roxas. And we didn't walk through any portals.

Yeah... Actually, it kind of reminds me of someplace I've been before, too. I thought that was just a dream...?

[That earns Roxas a slightly questioning look, then it's gone and the normal goofball Axel is back in place-- at least for the moment.] Why don't we find out? Hellooo~~~! Is anyone there?

Certainly! Well, this place is a nexus between realities, a place where people go back and forth between their own worlds and this nexus. As a result, very, very few people here are from the exact same world. However, there is a certain phenomenon that happens here called a "reality merge," which occurs when you become close to another person on some level. Your realities will quite literally begin to blend together.

If you are wondering how this place came to be, I am afraid that I do not know. The overseers of this place are the two little twins from the shop you likely saw, along with a woman called Meredith Sault. This entire place is an experiment that they are running, and we are the test subjects. Occasionally they develop personalized experiments for individual people, but these experiments are quite varied.

You can come and go from here as you please, however, and all it takes is a simple thought. Time also does not pass in your own world while you are here, and many people take advantage of that fact. For the most part, this place is peaceful and the people are quite lovely, so there is little to fear.

Is that satisfactory, then? Ah, but how rude of me! I am Amaterasu, sun goddess of Nippon. And you, young one?
