[it's been some time since the TARDIS was last on the Plane, but here she is, with what looks like a segment from a very large wardrobe. not her own, of course, but some of Romana's old things from her room. there are several hat boxes and chests scattered around her and the TARDIS is currently standing in front of a full-length mirror, trying on a wide assortment of various hats. it's not like Romana needs them anymore, her being gone and all. you know.
besides, the TARDIS has been going through her rooms looking for things she might clear away or pack up in the attic. so whatever she doesn't like is being tossed in a pile to be sorted and filed. it isn't like the Doctor has bothered in some two hundred years to do so. there's also the added bonus of her attempting to appear 'nice' for him, and she knows he fancied Romana, soooo]

[Gathering up the jacket, gloves and the necklace into her arms, she stood up.] There are few that I can trust and even fewer that I care for in the way I only know how to. [Romana paused and looked to the other boxes of her old life.] ... I don't see myself being capable of loving anyone when I don't even know how to. After all, I am just another Time Lord.

If you were just another Time Lord, you would be inconsequential to me. You are not, however. You matter to him. You no longer travel in me but you have never left. I do not like the importance he places on you. If you do not love him, you will tell him to stop caring for you.

in the end, she looks away, placing the hat Romana originally said looked good on her back on her head] Do you suppose the Doctor will like it if I wear these types of things?

[watches Romana once again through the mirror] If you require anything from your rooms, ask. I will bring them to you. It is better than storing them further in my attic.

...good-bye, Romana.

[Aaaand she leaves the plane.]
