[Astrid appears on the Plane in her pyjamas and barefoot. Well technically they're not pyjamas, it's just a pink Care Bear t-shirt (shut up okay it depicts a care bear stare - and she thought it was a bit like that trick Bannakaffalatta pulled, it has NOTHING to do with the fact she thinks Care Bears are adorable) and boxer shorts. Pyjama descriptions aside though, she's clearly not long out of bed, her hair's in a very scruffy ponytail and she has toast and peanut butter in one hand and a cup of tea in the other.

It's been a while since she was here, probably too embarrassed after the way she dropped when she was talking to the Doctor, and then she was a fairy, which was a bit disconcerting. But she's told herself it's because she's been too busy, even though time doesn't pass when you're here, but that's a technicality and doesn't need thinking about too much, because that would add a flaw to her logic.

Anyway, she looks a bit anxious, and there's a very good reason for her being here.]

I need some help, can anyone get me forged paperwork?

[Pulls out a gun, shoots a bullet through his hand, and looks through the hole as it heals]

That'd be the reason.

[you know those really high pitched, girly screams? The ones that actually hurt your ear drums? Have one of them as Astrid clamps her hand over her mouth, it takes her about a minute to actually spit any words out.]

Oh my VOT! And that doesn't hurt?

Well, yeah, but that reaction was totally worth it.

But you barely flinched? And what did you expect, you nearly shot your hand off!

I need to stop saying that, that's probably what got me in this mess in the first place.

That depends where I am. But on Earth, yes, unfortunately.

[grins] No, although I like their food! I'm from Sto, another solar system entirely.

And you came to Earth? Why bother?

I'm kind of stuck, I was working on a Space Cruiseliner that ran into some trouble near Earth, and I've been there ever since.

Cruise, eh? Was it a three-hour tour? Should I call you Mary-Ann?

No. [confused, humour goes whoosh! over her head sometimes] My name's Astrid and it was teeny bit longer than three hours, what with the distance and all.

Astrid? Sounds like a kind of insect.
