[A man appears on the plane, which wouldn't be odd except for the fact he's upside down, floating a few feet up in the air, drifting slightly. It's hard to see what he looks like aside from a few strands of white hair peeking out, thanks to the giant-ass black cloak he's sporting, but it becomes evident that he's at least human (in appearance, anyways) when a pale arm swings out from under the cloak, held up to the hood. And orange orb appears in the air above the back of his palm, flickers wildly for a few moments, then fades. The arm is retracted.]

Another dimension..?

Hn.

[He temporarily warps from view, only to reappear a second later standing, right-side-up and on the ground this time, and appears to be trying to get his bearings. The arm is out and the orange orb flashing in and out of view again.]

[Dffsdk don't mind Karasu he just likes to stare at people while looking highly suspicious/pissy/socially inept.]

[Hei's good at that too! They shall have a staring contest.]

[It is impossible to outstare Karasu. He's frowned for so long his upper eyelids have fused to his eyebrows.]

Who are you?

Hei. You?

Hei. [Oh right, that dude Deadpool won't shut up about.]

You manipulate wires and energy?

[Hei is instantly on edge.]

And you're the one who protects Miss Kaminogi.

How do you know that about me?

[Karasu practically bristles at the mention of Haruka.]

'Deadpool' would not be quiet about you.

How do you know Haruka?

[Deadpool, of course. Hei makes a note to stab him again the next time he sees him.]

He has that tendency.

I've met her here. She mentioned danger, and that you protect her.

[Karasu's frown falters a bit.]

Haruka is under my protection as long as I exist.

[Back to full-on scowly mode.]

Remember that.

[Hei stares back at Karasu for awhile.]

I will. But the question is whether you can protect her in this place.

[The voice of absolute conviction]

I exist only for her safety.

I will not let her come to harm.

[This is an extremely odd parallel happening here. Hei's expression finally softens and he nods.]

You care about her.

[There's quite a pause before he finally responds, not quite so harsh as before.]

Haruka is someone precious to me.

[Hei is silent for awhile.]

I understand.

[Hi have some awkward silence.]

...The abilities Deadpool claims you possess. Do you have them?

...I do.

How did you come to possess them?

It's a long story, and one I don't feel like divulging.

Suffice it to say, I doubt you have a Hell's Gate in your world.

All I wish to know is if you were born with them.

[Loooong pause.] I wasn't, but most of the people in my world with abilities like this were.

I see.

[Vague nod.]
