And breathes a HUGE sigh of relief!] Oh, thank God! I look like myself again. [Laughs] Being other people was starting to get a little awkward...

Well, I don't know when it exactly stopped changing me and a few others when we showed up here. I quit coming for a while. But yeah, it's fine now. Why, did it happen to anyone you knew?

I doubt you've missed very much, though. I can't recall anything particularly exciting happening as of late...except perhaps the Morningstar's arrival.

I haven't the slightest idea...Amaterasu is a goddess, though, and there are angels and demons about. I suppose it may not have been such a stretch of their abilities.

Blond. Handsome. A bit like a model or a statue. Beauty's a pretty common trait with angels, though.

I'd say you haven't much to fear from him, but I don't know if I can back that up. The Morningstar is the Morningstar, regardless.

Yeah, no offense, but if you'd told me not to worry I would have to ask what else is in that cigarette you've got there. [He shakes his head, smirking a bit, though it's obvious how uneasy he feels.]

Yeah. For a while there, every time I came here, I looked like someone or something different. It was weird.

[O-O Up come the floating data screen and keyboard.] What sort of things?

[He blinks at the data screen and keyboard that, hello, came out of nowhere?]

Uh. ... Oh! Uh. Well, first I was still human. I just had some sort of... weird... thing on my arm. My hair got really light, and I think I grew an inch or two. But then, I was some sort of white... monster-bird-thing. ... I don't know. The last one, though, I was human again. Just... blond. And there wasn't a single case where I looked remotely like myself.

Oh, you weren't looking like yourself either, Kuhn?

Not at all, my star. [He can't help but laugh about it now, though.] First, I had this weird arm-thing, then I ended up as some sort of... bird creature... and then, I was blond. I have to say, it was one of the weirdest things ever.

Did the same thing happen to you?

It did. I had a pretty, human woman the whole time, but she looked very odd. Her hair was green and it looked like it had a pattern to it, and her skin was really white. Like the color of snow, really. But I'm glad to have mine back.

Though... I wonder what the purpose was for all of the switches?

Yeah, I keep getting this sinking feeling that I have yet to see the worse of what happens around here. I mean, there's gotta be a reason some people don't like this place... But can there really be enough negative to outweigh the positive?

Well, I don't think so! I mean, if I hadn't come here, then things would still be the same. Ne, and I wouldn't have met Sam, of course.

Sam? Don't think I've met him. Who's that? [He of course sounds as normal and conversational as ever, but he's definitly thinking: "Another guy? ... HMM."]

See, that's why I think it's good. I get to meet so many wonderful people here, after all.

{And she smiles warmly} Ah, well, Sam is the person that I love! He believes in me, and cares for me, and...Well, I love him, but it's only me. I don't think Sam feels quite the same way.

Time doesn't pass back home, you meet amazing people... Seriously, what's not to like? ... Okay, experiments aside. [He laughs a bit at that one.]

He doesn't, huh? [He frowns, completely out of sympathy, actually.] I'm sorry, Diva. ... But hey, he doesn't know what he's missing out on. His loss if he doesn't return your feelings.

{She laughs a little too} They're not that bad, really. Odd, but they make things a little interesting, from time to time. I love it here, I really do.

Well, I hope that he will one day, at least. If not, then I'm fine with repaying him for helping me by trying to make his life happy. I may not be the most handy, but if I can at least try, then it's worth something, I figure.
