[Jack is sitting on the sofa normally found in his office, a small coffee table in front of him. On it lies several tools, along with what appears to be the pieces of his wristband. It has been taken apart completely, the leather strap holding only a hollow metal casing at this point. All the wiring and small parts are laid out neatly on the surface of the table, seemingly taken apart as thoroughly as possible without actually breaking anything.]

Why the Nazi uniform?

Well, it's part of an experiment. I'm in Germany in the 1940s, in Auschwitz with Josef. Like I was at that time. So I'm relieving my memories, sort of! Ne, but they're good memories, so it's okay.

Well, my Chevalier did. I was just a tool for them, remember? They sent me to Auschwitz to be in Josef's care after Berlin got bombed. They were worried for my safety with all that fire, you know?

Not at all. Uniforms of any kind really aren't for me! Ne, I'd prefer my nice dresses, but they say that I have to wear this.

I don't really like uniforms like this especially. They're too..."cramped". I guess that's a word for it. It's hard to move in them, really!

The Spartan uniforms were always a particular favorite of mine. I wasn't opposed to the captain's uniform during either of the world wars.

Brass helmets that covered the cheeks and nose, capes made out of thick cloth, and a cloth that covered just enough to be practical.

If you could carry the shield and wield it properly, you had maximum mobility and defense.
