[Have a Handy humming to himself in the kitchen as he goes about getting ingredients out of pantries and the refrigerator.  After speaking with Ray and Chris earlier, he is almost certain he knows how to make pancakes.  He has never actually done this, however.  He figures now would be as good a time as any to distract himself by testing out this assumption]

Oh, honestly! That's completely unfair.

Just because he made a mess of things isn't any reason to assume I'll make a mess of things. You're judging me based on one of my other self's actions instead of my own.

That is prejudiced is what that is.

No, I'm judging it on the basis that everyone always wants to flip the pancakes right off the bat, when it actually takes a lot of practice.

But alright. Go for it. [There are bubbles in the pancakes now, so they're ready to be flipped.]

[beams at Hei and then takes the pan. And he goes for the flip. And he might be a little enthusiastic with it, and it might have landed half in and half out of the pan. He attempts to tilt the pan to try to get it back in, and this just causes the pancake to fall completely out and onto the Plane floor. He will now be looking back up at Hei innocently]

I think I should have another go. Where's that batter?

[Eyeroll.] Knock yourself out. [Passes him the bowl.]

[big grin] Right then. [dumps some more batter in and taps his foot, impatiently waiting for those bubbles to reappear] I bet it's brilliant, getting to work in a kitchen. Always something to do. You enjoy it, yeah?

[Smiles.] It is. It's always very busy, and you make all this food but you can't eat any, and it's just chaos all around you, but...I like it. It's... [He shrugs.] Fun.

Can't eat it. Not sure how much I'd enjoy that part. But still, fun is - [bubbles!] Oh! Now I get to flip again! [flips again, a little too enthusiastically, and it lands in the pan this time, though the batter splashes a bit] There you are! Caught it in one.

Probably could use another flip, yeah?

[and he doesn't wait for an answer as he flips again. this time it nearly misses but he catches it and straightens it out]

Flip it a few times until it's the proper color on both sides.

And use a spatula, if you want to actually be able to eat it.
