[The twins are holding their clipboards and checking off things. They look up at Meredith] They're all beginning to access the plain of their own accord now, so it's time to officially begin the experiment! This one should produce better results than the Chimera experiment.

[Meredith stand still, voice light and careless] Perhaps we should explain some things to the subjects. It seems this may facilitate the progress of the experiment.

[The twins frown and tuck their clipboards under their arms in unison] Why do we need to do that?

I have previously given my justification. [Meredith gazes across the plane] We may find it beneficial.

'Beneficial'? [The twins give long, somewhat dramatic sighs] Fiiiine. If they really need to know...

[Turning away from the Twins, Meredith sets her gaze on those nearby] If you are inclined to ask questions of us, we may elect to answer them. Please direct all queries here.

[eyes narrow] Do you sell heroin? LSD? Do you traffick in humans?

[both roll eyes] We did say anything but most of that stuff is done by a business associate. We like to sell better stuff! We did bring in you guys, though.

You have associates who traffick in illegal substances? [very set on doing his job]

[grin] She's a bit out of your jurisdiction.

How do you figure that? You can arrest us if you like but no one else will be able to see us.

[pulls out his badge] You are under arrest on suspicion of trafficking illegal substances. You are not obliged to say anything, but anything you do say can be used against you as evidence in -- wait, what?

[and laugh~] We can't be seen by anyone except the people who are able to exist on this plane.

Wh - bu - what do you - what? But that's not - I can see you. The Guv, clearly, can see you, sorry 'bout that. So-- [trails off helplessly]

Of course you can! You can access this plane, right? So you can see us.

Yeah, okay, but, if you're to be believed, why wouldn't other people be able to?

They're not part of the test group. That'd be too big of a test group.

[frowns and folds his arms] Prove it. Show me that they can't see you.

[siiiiigh again] All right! Tonight we'll walk into your police station with you. And you'll be the only person who can see us. Unless your yelling friend is there too. Then he will be the second person who can.

Fine but you owe us. We'll meet you outside your police station, yes? [drop from the Astral Plane and wait for him there~]

[to the station he goes! and he stops and meets them outside, glancing over at them] Are you sure you want to do this. [pauses and reaaally looks at them] What - are you - why do you look like - what are you made of?

[hands on their hips] If it'll prove us right then yes! And we're made of flesh and synthetic parts. [pout slightly] Is it that obvious?

Synthetic? You look like porcelain.

[cross their arms] It's hard to keep our bodies together, so some things like skin pigmentation suffered. [each hang off one of his arms] Come on, Sam. Take us in to be arrested!

[eeeeeeeerm, there are weird porcelain dolls on his arms] Why is it hard to keep your bodies together? [walking them in]

Because they'd rather be together. [totally run forward like kids and wait for him at the desk] Go on, Sam!
